Absolute trash
Absolute trash!!!The radio will play a few minutes and then start to scroll. When streaming music through Bluetooth or carplay, the system disconnects from the phone and restarts. When using gps, the screen goes blank and comes back on upside down. I could go on but I don't want to bore you.

Great deal on a 10.1in multimedia head unit!
I needed to update my 2004 Silverado 1500, and this was the perfect fit. I was trying to get the Jensen CAR1013, but i believe this is the amazon specific model of the same device. It is also almost $60 cheaper than crutchfield.I installed with a PAC RP5-GM11 adapter kit, which was probably overkill at an additional $140, because my truck is a base model without onstar or bose. The $40 scosche GM adapter probably would have been fine in my case, however everything booted up and just worked first time go. I did wire the included GPS antenna and the included microphone. Test call to my wife seemed to work just fine, no issue with the mic not working. I also wired a RED Wolf Tailgate Camera, which I soldered into the reverse positive and ground wires on the left tail light. The device read the canbus signals just fine, and the back up camera displayed the picture correctly. Not upside down or backwards, and no need for me to flip the image in the settings. I was able to manually adjust the back up guides, which was a nice feature. The only real downside to this device is due to the truck, not the device. The gear selector lever obstructs the screen a bit while in park. When driving this is not an issue. I posted pics of the clearance and even in park it is not touching. The Jensen also sticks out past the bezel enough that you can point it and angle the screen with quite a bit of play. The dash kit I used was the Metra Electronics 95-2001 Double DIN Installation Dash Kit for Select 1994 - 2012 GM Vehicles. I also used the double din metal cover plate that came with the Jensen. With the kits, head unit and back up camera I was properly set up with wireless android auto for around $500. Not to mention the wireless android auto works fantastic so far.

don't waste you money
not worth it. i have had one's half the price that worked twice as well. the CarPlay restarts randomly, normally right before you need to make a tricky intersection or you are jamming out to your favorite song. the detachable screen is hard to get off and always worried about launching it across my vehicle and breaking it. don't waste your money on a name get something that actually works well

Quick Android Auto connection; just works
This isn't perfect. It is a little quirky. The settings are minimal (for example, the radio presets screen). For my use case of Android Auto in a 2009 Honda Odyssey, it is close to perfect. It isn't super fast, but it is good enough. Better than previous generations. It connects to Android Auto very quickly. The screen is touch responsive enough. It is bright and high res enough. (It does have a log of sun glare though - I'll get an anti-reflective layer on top of it soon.) Most importantly, the GPS antenna (under my dash) locks fast and more reliably than my phone (which is usually pretty good, but occasionally lags or is inaccurate), and it connects to Android Auto very quickly. This is the CAR1013 model, but with a model number specific for Amazon.I'm very satisfied with it.

Pretty solid radio.
Pretty good radio. Does what need it to do. CarPlay works as it should. Has very good sound and has preouts for subwoofers. Very easy to put in and wiring is pretty self explanatory. Can wire it up to dim with headlights being on at night and whatnot. The only thing that I do not like about it is that sometimes the screen will scroll on its own while driving which is a little annoying, but it’s an every now and then type of thing.Pretty good budget system if you’re looking for a dependable radio.

Perfect, if it only worked right
I bought two of these for the same glitch problem. Everyone else was having and now I can’t return the second one and it’s doing the exact same thing only worse it cuts and cuts out random times I can’t go back to CarPlay. It says I have to be in Bluetooth All the time. It would be great if it worked properly but nothing‘s worse than jamming out to your favorite song and halfway through it it shuts down. I would like Jensen to contact me personally to see what I can do about returning the second one since our Amazon already shows that I have returned one and received one and now I can’t return the second help

Nice display
Nice looking radio. Fills the big void on my dash where the original Axxion factory radio was. Had to buy some mounting brackets (be sure to order them too). One down side: it doesn’t have native SiriusXM support but I can use the Sirius app in CarPlay for that
