Nice, rich chorus sound with good flexibility and range of adjustment. The X-Over feature filters out the chorus effect on lower frequencies which is good when playing chords, helping the high notes get a rich chorus sound while keeping the lower notes tight. The flanger function is ok but not that useful to me, it's a nice bonus feature but the quality chorus is why you buy this. The unit is small, rugged and made the usual MXR / Jim Dunlop quality standards.

Great chorus for bassists. Crossover function works well. Nice to have treble and bass controls. Flanger mode is a bonus.

I love this pedal. Very versatile and doesn't sound too digital. I use it often and it's on my pedalboard permanently.

BOSS CEB-3から乗り換え。CEB-3のローフィルターは良かったが音が優等生過ぎて物足りない。その点このM83は同じく優等生なのだが、とてもいいかかりをしてくれる。モノでありながら透明感があり音が立体的に聴こえる。特にベースとトレブルが強力。このEQはすこぶる効きが良く、コーラスを掛けた時のロー不足を見事解消してくれ、それどころか分厚いサウンドにしてくれる。トレブルを上げるとキラキラ感も。フランジャーもいい感じでかかる。実に気持いい音。これは一生モノ。

The effect is subtle even when the settings are extreme, but it works very well to provide a thickener to bass, and stacks well with other effects. The bonus flanger sounds good but the chorus sounds better. It won't get as "out there" as something like the bass clone, but is much less noisy and can be set with a cross-over to keep the bass super tight. One tip is to turn off the crossover if you want a more prominent chorus effect.

Wie von MXR nicht anders zu erwarten, Top Qualität und Klasse Sound-Effekt und das bedeutet 5 Sterne PLUS. Der MXR Bass Chorus Deluxe gehört zwar zu den höherpreisigen Geräten aber die Qualität und der Klang überzeugen in jeder Hinsicht... Daumen hoch :-)
