These fire blankets are an excellent value for the quality you get. I’ve purchased "higher-end" versions before, but these hold up just as well for a fraction of the cost. The fact that you get two in the pack is a bonus, and the clear, easy-to-read instructions printed right on the front make them very user-friendly in an emergency. Each one has a metal eyelet for convenient hanging, or you can simply hold the one end and pull the tabs to release the blanket quickly when needed. The size is perfect for a variety of small fire situations, and the material feels durable, flame-resistant, and effective, while still remaining lightweight. They’re simple to use, just cover the fire and let it smother out, with minimal mess afterward. While they don’t replace a full fire extinguisher, they’re a great safety backup to have around the kitchen or garage. Good quality and good price
I gave these as gifts to a few family members and friends for Christmas. I hope 5 is a fair rating . I did quite a bit of looking at different kinds of fire blankets and these had reviews saying they were thick enough to work well. It’s a gift you hope your loved ones never have to use but will be thankful for it if they do. I bought one for me and another for a daughter who like me, has a has stove. My two friends have electric stoves so I don’t think a fire is as likely for them.

SAFE RATHER THAN SORRY
This a life saver! I had grease catch on fire on my gas stove top- took the blanket out put it over the flame and out it went. I keep it next to stove as well as the SaveLix in case of Choking. Being a nurse these things are important- Lee Stern

Be careful, unseen damaging sharp particles.
Be careful when handling this item. Wear gloves. It looks like some unseen but felt sharp dust particles found on the surface that can damage your skin. My fingers' skin suffered so.
