Perfect for Older People
This is a sturdy, well-made treadmill. The controls are simple and easy to learn and use. The number one reason to buy this is SAFETY. With a large base and handrails that run the entire length of the machine, I feel very secure, absolutely no worries about falling. If you are a senior like I am and need more exercise, this is a very worthwhile investment. So glad I bought it!

Perfect for an 80 year old walker
The treadmill arrived quickly, and in good condition considering the box was damaged in transit. It was packed extremely well, thankfully. My husband and I (both pushing 80) assembled it in under two hours. There are no written instructions, only diagrams. Still, everything is numbered and not difficult to follow. I didn’t want a treadmill with lots of bells and whistles, or a personal trainer yelling at me to “get the lead out” while walking the hills of Tuscany. I also didn’t need one that had an incline. This one is perfect, allowing me to walk at a good pace, for 45 minutes or so, while listening to an audio book. It’s amazingly quiet! I’m 5’ 9’’ and have a fairly long stride. The platform is long enough and wide enough for someone much taller. It can get up to a decent speed for jogging, not that I plan to. At my age, my balance isn’t as good as it once was, and i appreciate the sturdy hand rails when needed. This treadmill is incredibly well made. The console is easy to understand, and has a large digital display. It allows you to set goals like calories burned, distance and mph. The only feature I’ve used is the timer, allowing me to program how long I plan to walk. All said, this treadmill is perfect for what I wanted, and an excellent product for the money. I highly recommend it to anyone looking for a good, quiet indoor walk.

BUY THIS - the perfect treadmill for what I wanted
It is extremely hard to find a walking treadmill that has holding bars up high and in front. Nordic Track has it and it will set you back $ 3k-4k. There are two other commercial brands that are $4 and $ 7k. This one cost $ 500 and this is what makes it perfect: * 19 inch wide belt is just wide enough for a guy. I first got a smaller cheaper treadmill that had a belt width of 16 and that was not good. My feet kept hitting the sides and it was dangerous. * I have to put my hands up and in front when I am on a treadmill. At the gym I have to uncomfortably put them on the display unit or something not made for your hands. The ones at the gym that do have two bars in front are too low and uncomfortable to walk. This has a bar just over the display and it is the perfect height to rest your hands. *I walked for over 2 hours on it and it is so sturdy and secure. *It is the perfect walking treadmill and I purchased a table piece on Amazon that goes over the side bars in case I ever want to use my laptop and do work while walking real slow. ASSEMBLY: The box will be delivered to your front door. Open it there and take out all the other pieces and carry them to the room you want the treadmill. Then take the heavy base unit out and if you are on the same floor you can wheel it to the room. If it is on the second floor (stairs which was us) you will need two people to get it upstairs but with two people it is NOT heavy and easy to do. The instructions are almost flawless and they make it a breeze. I wish every company packaged their screws and stuff like this and had instructions that where so easy to put together. I think I took 30 minutes and I did it myself. The last piece that goes on = the upper handlebar = needs to be gently hit with your hand to get it in and then lining up the holes for those screws seemed to not be as easy but I realized it was not even needed. So I left the screws off of just the upper handlebar but it is completely secure and not going anywhere and does not move at all. SUMMARY: I now have my go to machine. When I watch some sports events I will walk slow = 1 to 1.5 miles per hour to not get distracted and will watch the TV on the wall in front of me. When I do work during the week I can get on this thing for hours at only 1 mph and do work. The link below is the laptop stand I use over the side handlebars which make laptop work easy while slow walking on this. https://www.amazon.com/dp/B082DR952P?psc=1&ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_product_details

Great smaller treadmill
This treadmill is simple to use and pretty easy to put together although I had help. I'm 73 and don't think I could have assembled it by myself, but it only took about an hour to put it together. It is a no bells and whistles model, does not incline but for me it is perfect. I am recovering from knee surgery on both knees and just need to get some exercise.

A good, affordable treadmill!
I've had this for a few months and it works great! Pros: Very sturdy, easy to operate, easy to maintain. Cons: Very, very heavy. You'll want help getting it assembled and moving it around. That's why it's so sturdy though. I really like the build quality, everything connects with multiple bolts and screws. It feels solid and rigid. The rails are perfect for stability, I got injured shortly after buying this and was worried about getting back on but the rails made it easy. Now I'm back up to full speed and feeling great, and having the peace of mind that I could rely on the rails for stability was a relief. It's easy to maintain, you just squirt some silicone oil under the treadmill belt, wipe it around, and that's that. I do a little every 2 weeks and that seems to be good. Make sure to dust it (I throw a dust jacket over mine) so dust and oil don't mix. It has no fancy features but I like that, I wanted something that "just worked". It counts calories and miles and speed and that's all I needed. There's a safety clip you attach to your clothing so if you ever did somehow slip and fall, the other end of the clip yanks out a magnetic safety switch and stops the the treadmill. So this treadmill is simple, safe, and easy to use. I'm very happy with it. Just have a friend to help you out when the package arrives, because it weighs a ton!

Not enough cushioning, too much vibration. Difficult to Return
I bought this treadmill for its safety railing that continues even above the console. I am a 76 y/o with balance problems and this treadmill looked safe. I paid Amazon extra to deliver it to my basement and assemble it. No apparent problems with either delivery or assembly. However, after walking at 2 MPH for about 30-40 minutes, I noticed that there was much more vibration than I have experienced with other treadmills. My wife described it as "like walking on a nest of bumble bees." Also, this treadmill seemed to have almost no cushioning. This combination caused tingling in my feet and pain in my ankles, knees and hips. Although I was able to return the treadmill to Amazon, they were not able to arrange pick-up from my basement with the same two-man team who delivered and assembled it. These are all major problems with a "recovery" treadmill that is supposed to be used by us older people. I was very disappointed with Sunny's design and Amazon's service. I should mention that I have been a Prime member for many years (>20) and this is the first time I have ever had a problem returning a product sold by and delivered by Amazon.

Great treadmill for seniors
I purchased this treadmill for my senior mother that has a little bit of a balance issue. I wanted to find something that was easy to use and had solid handles along the length of the treadmill. This one works great. We have had it for about 8 months and she loves it and uses it often. It really helps with her balance and I don't worry about her using it or potentially falling. It starts very slow, so it's easy for her to get started with her walk. The handrails are very sturdy. It also has a little lip at the front so she can rest her phone or tablet on it and watch a video while she walks. It's a little bit heavy, but not too bad. Assembly instructions are sufficient, as I was able to get it assembled in about an hour. Overall very happy with the purchase.
