Northern Goods does not stand behind their product. Do not order from third party seller.
This was delivered May 26, 2026 and the glove did it fit. They are a third party seller and after two lengthy conversations with Amazon customer service, and them reaching out to Northern Goods for us, their answer was no, this item is not returnable, and no refund of $76.29. I am very displeased.

Wrong size splint was sent and not noticed initially
I ordered a large splint for my hand since my medium splint was sightly too small so I thought to try a bigger size. I was sent a large plus size splint which is useless to support my hand and wanted to exchange it for the right size that I ordered. It seems that this is not possible. I will have to report this to trading standards since the purchasing contract has been broken and not addressed to fix the problem. It is important since the splint does not function as required and was expensive.

Frays, works and is comfortable, allows good use of hand
Recommended by my physical therapist, this wrist support is light and comfortable for work where I use my hand a lot. It also seems to work and help relieve enough of the stress on the joint at the base of my thumb, and my wrist, to at least minimize pain most of the time. The only drawbacks are that I think the Velcro closures could be larger and/or placed better for better sizing adjustability, and the edges of the neoprene material started fraying rather quickly. This one is on the pricey side for what it is. I also have a Muller wrist/thumb brace that is a little bulkier, and has rigid supports built in (I may try to take out) that works as well and, I think was a little cheaper.

Best cmc support I have found after trying MANY
The sizing guidance has been accurate for both me and my spouse (we require different sizes.) We have both tried multiple different styles and brands of cmc support braces and this one has been, by far, the best one for us. It is soft yet supportive. It gives a good amount of flexibility in terms of how tight or loose you keep it. We can both work while wearing it, which is a big deal since we both constantly use our hands. We have to be able to bend our thumbs and wrists... this brace allows movement while giving support. It gives compression as well as warmth, but it isn't too hot. It's just a really good balance of support without being uncomfortably rigid like so many others we have tried. I have had mine for years and it looks worn but still works as well as it did initially. We wash them in cold water with gentle detergent and hang to dry. Like I said earlier- we have tried others and this one has been the best approach for both of us. I have never found anything like it. Definitely worth the cost in my opinion... especially since mine has held up for so long.
