Helpful Tips
Some helpful tips (in no particular order):1) Cut up vegetables and fruits into pieces small enough to fit into down this chute.2) Don't overload the juicer, this one or any one.3) When you're running the juicer, reverse the motor with the switch on the handle to get more juice out and unclog any veggies that might get stuck. Reversing is one of my favorite features of this juicer.4) Mix the veggies together when you insert them. Insert a handful of 'juicy' things (ex. carrots, cucumbers, apples) alongside leafy greens (ex. kale, spinach, celery). It will reduce clogging caused by the leafier ones.5) You shouldn't juice vegetables and fruits together. Exception: apple.6) Drink immediately, as soon as you make it. When light and air hit vegetables and fruits, they oxidize (hence, the browning you see when you leave a cut apple out).7) If you do need to keep juice for later consumption, it's best to store in a dark, opague-y glass bottle in a fridge and drink within 24 hours.I bought two (2) of these three (3) years ago, one for me and one for my parents. The quality of juice is really good. These 2 juicers are still fully functioning. No issues. I've recommended this model to friends. Though juicers are generally harder to clean than blenders, this juicer isn't so bad to clean. For juicers, you can't go wrong with this model.

Best juicer ever, worth every penny!
This machine is amazing best juicer I have ever used. I have ad it for about 6 months now without issue it is great with greens and is perfect for the daily or occasional juicer clean up is clean juice has a bit more pulp than I would like but that's what you get with a slow juicer I strain most juices before I drink them. the device is super cute and fits nicely on my counter top. It does not clog often and yield a great juice to input ratio.... I recommend this to anyone looking for a great slow juicer. Also for it to ne a slow juicer it works pretty quick and isn't too loud...buy it now you wont regret it.

NO CUSTOMER SERVICE
Well if it does not work - as mine does not good luck. Customer service is non existent and all they ask is how big are the pieces you put in it... I tell them I followed the instructions-- all the fibers just cake up all in the basket and do not expel like they are supposed to. My friend that has one came over and she told me - no this is not right. It has never worked correctly - used it less than a month now- and my juice is all full of fiber. This is a lot a money for something that does not work correctly and the company will do NOTHING- NOTHING--so frustrating and a waste of my money - what happened to customer service and quality. BUYER BEWARE__ if there is anything wrong with it - you are screwed. NEVER HAS WORKED AND THEY DO NOT CARE! Have called Hurom for 3 weeks. Have sent an email to their customer service, have emailed Corner Shop the distributor and Amazon. NO COMMENTs. Finally got this email from Hurom:I have confirmed with my managers that Amazon is NOT authorized. Units bought from unauthorized dealers do not have the full manufacturer's warranty. Therefore, for any warranty issues, you would have to contact Amazon directly or email the Hurom rep in your country.I have added a list below for international contacts of the Hurom Juicer. So if buying from Amazon invalidates warranties I guess it is not worth buying on line anymore. This is disgraceful.

Auger constantly gets stuck when trying to take apart to clean!
I wanted to love this juicer. And yes, it leaves very little pulp in the actual juice. The reason for 2 stars is the design of this juicer. About 6 months into it the auger would become lodged and took Herculean strength to manipulate it out. I generally never write reviews but after spending another 15 minutes (!!!) trying to once again get the auger out so I could clean the dang thing I thought--I'm not letting anyone else go through the this. It seriously happens 8 out of 10 times I use the juicer---& I generally use it 3 times a week. My next juicer will not be a Hurom, it will be an Omega.

Another "BEST THING I EVER BOUGHT!"
My daughter (age 24) got one of these and told me about it. I decided to buy one myself, so that when she came home for Thanksgiving we could make juice together with it.WOW, what a great thing!I love how I can make juice from any organic fruits or vegetables. You can make juice, or you can use the pulp and make things like carrot bread, meatloaf, soy milk, so cool!AND fun to use, no kidding.I've been making all sorts of things this week, and to think how healthy it all is! I made a juice using stringbeans, ginger and apple (I think apple), a citrus blast using all kinds of oranges, meatloaf, two different dips, a couple different green smoothies, whatever you have hanging around can be "cold pressed" to extract the goodness from it, and down the hatch! Buy it. You'll LOVE it. Easy to clean too. It's a JOY.

Make more than juice to drink!
I purchased one of these for my step-mother. She loved it! This year we had a crop of muscadine grapes and my husband had the idea to try the juicer. Usually you have to heat up the grapes, and while they are hot squeeze out the pulp/seeds and separate the seeds from the pulp by pressing the pulp through a strainer. This is a long and tedious process. We wanted the grape juice to make cobbler's. He borrowed the juicer and once he used it, he went crazy. The work was picking the grapes. The juicer could process two gallons of grapes in 13 minutes. The juice required no heating. Pour four cups in a quart zip lock bag and pop it in the freezer. Done! He put up 60 quarts of juice! Melt a stick of butter in the bottom of a casserole dish, whisk 1 1/2 cups flour with 1 cup of milk and 1 cup sugar. Pour the flour mixture into the dish that already has the butter in it, then pour the juice into the middle of the flour mixture. Do not stir. Bake at 350 for 1 hour. Enjoy! After seeing how great this worked, my sister-in-law purchased one to make jelly, and we purchased one. No more borrowing! The unit is very quiet and easy to clean.

Great Juicer, I would recommend to anyone starting in juicing
We have used this juicer every day for about a month now. I did a lot of research on juicers, should we get a fast or slow one. We went to Wal-Mart and bought a centrifuge one and I really found that it created a lot of waste and the juice separated quickly after juicing. We took that back and bought this juicer. It is on the pricer side compares to the Wal-Mart one expensive I admit, more then we wanted to pay but this is a typical cost for a slow juicer if you want it to last for more then a few months.Pros:1. The juicer is very sturdy, the prats don't feel like they would break if you drop them2. Very quiet running, there is a hum but its like microwave hum so wont disturb your partner when you make juice in the morning.3. Easy to clean but not supper easy (pouring water through it will not clean it like the picture shows), very fiberish things make it very hard to clean like kale. Where the waste comes out it gets stuck in there when trying to clean. Again not impossible but would not call it extremely easy either.4. It is price wise decent price for a juicer5. Juice is pulpier if you like that, or you have to use a strainer if not, more pulpier then a centrifuge juicerCons:1. The cups they give you don't fit snug to the side of the machine like they look like they should we just use measuring glasses at home.2. Cleaning the waste area is a bit hard, you need to use something to get inside it to poke it out nothing horrible but takes a min to do3. Juice leaks a little out the bottom, I am talking 3,4 drops not a lot but when we take the unit apart to clean there is always a few drops of juice on the bottom part. again so little but want to mention it.4. Slow juicers are named slow for a reason, it does take longer to make juice with a slow juicer, this is good and bad I guess. More juice and better quality but at the expense of time. Be prepared to take 10 min to make a juice (cutting up veggies as you go, then cleaning after)For us the pros outweigh the cons big time. All the cons listed are very minor things

Got my Hurom Juicer about a month ago and have been using it everyday! Love the ingredient booklet that came with it for tasty juice ideas and how easy it is to clean.

Huron hu100
This juicer is quiet, easy to use and easy to clean. I like it. The residues are dryer than my first juicer Jack Lalanne, of course I paid more for the Huron, but it is worth it.
