What a fantastic idea! A set of two trays, each with six ice cube separations. I of course use filtered water before freezing. Almost everyone now has self defrosting freezers and vanishing ice cubes in normal trays is a common thing. They slightly defrost and freeze again in your ice cubes get smaller and smaller. NOT WITH THIS ONE! It's got a sealed lid on top of it and every single ice cube remains the same size until I'm ready to use it! I'm adoring that function. It's made of non-bpa plastic so it's safe for food products which is including ice! And now for the size of the cubes. Large. Your ice cubes don't immediately melt. You'll only need one ice cube for lemonade or iced tea or any other drink you choose. Because they last. Which means your drink won't get quickly watered down. And they're extremely easy to dislodge one ice cube without all of the other ice cubes falling out. Made out of silicone, you can just push the bottom of the ice cube section that you want, and that's the only one that falls out! Super easy to snap it back into place. And one of the best things I found about this is that if I know I'm not going to be using it again for a day or two, I can simply refill the one or two cube sections that are empty, and the next time I go for it I have a full ice cube tray! Really do love this! I did clean it before use but there was no chemical smell. I always recommend cleaning these items before use! Very easy. Simply soap and water and rinse.

I have made numerous purchases, trying to find the right large cube trays for drinks. These are the best I own. First, the cubes are larger than most so they last longer. The silicone trays are flexible enough to easily remove cubes, but are rigid enough that they don’t collapse carrying the unfrozen filled trays to the freezer. The lid snaps on and stays on the tray while they are in the freezer, and unlike the expensive “clear” cube trays, these trays takes up much less freezer space and freeze solid overnight.

I use this to freeze my homemade salsa or charro beans. I like the portion sizes and they’re easy to pop out. I wanted to use for those kind of things, remove them and place in baggies in the freezer, and then use the molds for ice. However, these retain the strong smells of salsa, so I don’t want to use them for ice after all! That’s why I removed one star - they’re dedicated to Mexican food only now! Still a very good product. Not quite as sturdy as a different version I had, but sturdy enough.

These ice cube molds are fantastic! Fill them 1/4" from the top of the mold. As the water freezes, the ice cube will expand and fill the entire mold. The lids play an important part in allowing the molds to be stacked in the freezer. Once frozen, push against the bottom of the mold to eject the ice cube. The silicone material is very supple which makes it very easy to eject the ice cube. I purchased a total of (4) molds and kept a group of (8) in cocktails for the Holidays by freezing new cubes once a day. These are great molds.

My husband is trying to be a fancy man evidently and needed square ice instead of our fridge ice for his whiskey. These were a no brainer for the price and the easy of removing ice from silicone instead of those old plastic ice trays is amazing. I like that these come in a pack of two and with a lid for easy stacking. We are able to make them in bulk now and they do make sipping whiskey a nicer experience because the ice doesn't melt as quickly so the drink isn't watered down. We tend to use these for hosting events now too and call it our fancy man's ice.

Love how much easier to use this one is over the molds that have a solid bottom. Getting the cubes out is so much better now. I had one that was solid on the bottom and the ice cubes were tough to remove since there was no wiggle room. I love these big square cubes in a mixed drink or just a bourbon that requires some ice. The ice does not melt as fast as smaller cubes.
