I bought these to replace the outdoor speakers on my 2022 Cherokee Grey Wolf travel trailer. These have blue LEDs like the original Driven brand speakers and are a similar size. Mounting wasn't super difficult, but I did have to enlarge the mounting hole in the trailer wall slightly, and the mounting screw pattern did not match exactly. With that said, these Pyle speakers sound significantly better and have higher power handling capabilities. They are also more efficient, so I don't have to turn the radio up as loud to get the same sound. Great value for the money, and a great replacement for the OEM speakers. These don't have large magnets and are not long throw, so they will not provide deep bass, but for weather resistant speakers for my use case, these are perfect.

I purchased these speakers to replace the ones that came on my 2018 Forest River travel trailer. The factory ones had blue LEDs as well, but both had quit working, and one of the two speakers was blown. These replacements from Pyle were the closest I could find to a direct replacement. From a wiring standpoint they were pretty much plug & play. I had to replace one connector on the camper side, but that was only because it stripped when removing it from the old speaker. Size-wise, I had to enlarge both holes just slightly. Before doing so, the speakers still fit, but the slightest pressure or movement would cause the aluminum siding to touch the contacts on the speaker, shorting it out. Quick fix with a Dremel. The mounting holes also didn't line up perfectly and I needed to drill a couple new ones, but that is in no way the fault of these speakers. Just make sure when you install to use some good quality sealant around the back side to prevent any water intrusion. For the price I paid for these, and the fact they are only 5.25" speakers, they do the job. The blue LEDs are an exact match for the ones on my awning, and they sound fine. They won't win any audio competitions, but neither would the factory ones. We keep our music low when camping anyway, and so far these have been a perfect replacement.

Ok, so as I said, you need to keep things in perspective with these speakers - they're small and inexpensive and they sound that way too. I wouldn't say that I'm an audiophile or anything, but I do enjoy good sound and I'm kind of picky. I'm debating whether or not I will be returning these. They are very easy to install and I do like that they can be hooked up without the power lines for the LED lights. They do seem well built as they've got a bit of weight to them, but the sound quality is simply not there. The only reason I'm actually contemplating keeping them, is because they are the perfect size for my boat and I will be using them minimally. My concern is that when I'd likely be using them is when I'm driving the boat and I'm not sure that I'll be able to hear music over the sound of the engine - I didn't get that far in testing yet. I'm powering them with one of those mini Bluetooth receivers - 24v (actually, more like 26v from my parallel batteries). Got that on Amazon too - amazing sound that thing pumps out with nice speakers! So I'll see once I can get on the water (rain, rain)...

Good sounding speakers, they do get pretty loud. Now with my project I had to mess around with the sound settings on my phone and the amp settings but I'm sure if you are using them for a boat or RV speaker replacement you wouldn't have to worry about it. Very low profile. I will say I didn't pay attention to the overall with, it is a 4" speaker but I didn't account for the outside ring. But nothing alittle trimming of the box it went in wouldn't fix. It was a great surprise to me that the light shines behind the speaker too! Turned out looking alsome in the frosted box.

The quality is pretty good for the price. Easily installed into our outdoor camper and so far has held up after rain and is waterproof. The volume is loud and clear. No static or fuzzy noise. Easily connected to the stereo system and phones Bluetooth

Good replacement for poor quality stock speakers in camper

Bought these to upgrade my RV trailer outdoor speakers. Had to make the hole a bit bigger, but otherwise easy install. The grill cover on one of the speakers came loose I assume and was lost somewhere during travel. Pyle doesn’t provide replacement parts that I can find. Price was ok. Sound was good, needed more bass for me, but worked better than the factory speakers.

Use these regularly. Great value
