The knot wasn’t tight enough and the hook fell off.I’d recommend tying it again yourself before using.

Excellent crabbing lines

So disappointed. Baited 3 of the 6 bought. Line looked like bakery twine. But I figured company must know what they are doing. Wrong. Put all 3 in the water and when I pulled in first line. Cord broke and I lost bait and clip holding the bait. Pulled in the second line again it broke lost everything again. When I went to pull in the 3rd line I saw it was fraying and was able to grab it and knot it. Returning 3 in wrapper and one which cord I saved with a knot.

It was alright but find out quick that the string wasn't tied correctly. Only after I lost one to the crab gods of the gulf. After that hiccup it was fine. But still down one hook

I picked up this A1FISHER crab throw line kit for bridge and pier crabbing, and it’s been working exactly as described. The 30 ft lines are a good length for most of the spots I use, and the rope feels strong enough without being too thick or stiff. The 4 oz lead weights are a nice touch — heavy enough to keep the bait down in the current, but not so heavy that the line feels awkward to handle. The knots were clean, and everything came ready to use right out of the package. I’ve used all three lines a few times now, and they’ve held up well with no fraying or slipping. For a simple crabbing setup, this kit does the job and is a good value for the price.
