The best coffee in the world.
I have never been much of a coffee drinker. I switched to tea a long time ago. My husband suggested we try this particular coffee because we had seen it referenced in some novels we have read. It is extremely expensive, but we felt it was worth it and neither of us drink more than 3 cups a day.

Ground too fine for filter coffee
Jamaican Blue Mountain coffee should be the best in the world. There are a lot of variables to getting the best out of any coffee though. One of the biggest is ensuring that the grind size matches your method of making coffee. I will admit that I thought I was buying whole beans but in fact I bought ground coffee. I'll make this work. Looking at the grind size I was immediately aware that it would be too fine for my Ratio 6 coffee maker. As received it is too fine. I would suggest it is for a pour-over (V60, etc) and not filter coffee. It was bitter and over extracted. The fore-taste was fine but the mid-and after-taste were clearly over-extracted to the point where I couldn't tell if it was over-roasted or over-extracted. It could be both and neither is pleasant. I fixed this by blending it 50:50 with CO2 decaf beans from Columbia. This is a waste of nearly $80/lb coffee. If you use a controlled filter coffee maker avoid this as ground coffee. It's just unpleasant. If you make coffee for cupping or pour-over it may work but filter drinkers should be aware and beware. At some point I'll try the whole beans with my burr grinder but for now I'll just say if you regularly drink coffee made by the filter machine method avoid this ground coffee. I've given it three stars since I can't tell what the failure mode is but I won't be buying this as ground coffee again.

Best coffee period. Got to go to Jamaica for a better price.

Not like it was in Jamaica.
It's good. And maybe since it's cheaper than going to Jamaica, it's worth it. But don't expect to be stopped in your tracks like I was the first time I tasted Blue Mountain coffee. I think I'll go back to the blends, at less than half the price.

Tate buds danced
I forgot how rich the flavor is. So creamy, drinking it black is a pleasure. We went to Jamaica and tried this stuff. AHHHHHHHHMAZING flavor. One of our favorite!!

Very good coffee when you aren't near your grinder.
OK, I'm spoiled. I drink a ridiculously upscale cup of coffee in the morning. My coffee maker grinds the beans just before brewing. I use only 100% Jamaican Blue Mountain, organic heavy cream, and organic raw sugar. When I travel, though, I need the pre-ground stuff, and this is it. Very good stuff and works fine in any hotel coffee maker. Vacation is saved! OK, maybe that's overstating, but this is very good coffee.

Beware it's ground! Quite bitter
It's a sin to sell preground coffee. Coffee was bitter and junk for it's price. Highly dissappointed. I will never buy from this company again. I French pressed it and was the worst cup of coffee I've ever tasted.
