I think they could be a bit cheaper but some similar items are more expensive and perform worse in my opinion. The "air mouse" is finicky, would not get it specifically to use as a mouse except to click on a screen occasionally. Worked well on an android device, plug and play. Keep in mind that this one is a little more expensive than some similar bluetooth remotes because it comes with a USB to connect via RF (wireless, no line of sight needed although the range is pretty short). The ability to plug it in like a keyboard is the added price.
