Compact and easy.
I've never heard of this brand so this was kind of a risky purchase. But I'm pleased to say that this drive is both a fraction of the size of my old HDD and doing a stellar job so far. I have used it with both Windows 10 and Linux (KDE) with no complaints at all.

Compact with huge storage (1TB) and fast to use.
Compact little 1TB portable SSD at a competitive price. Stored about 3500 photos onto it from my PC in very little time and still have a huge amount of storage left in this SSD.

Not an SSD
As most comments have made it clear. This is not an SSD it is a HDD and is clearly deceptive with the title of the product. It looks to be functional but the product isn't as advertised. I've attached the information leaflet. Although it says it is not windows 11 compatible, it seems to also work with windows 11, so god knows what this should be.

Technophobe friendly
I love my Sonnics 1TB SSD. So much so I bought another. Ithas great performance and is easy to use, simply format, plug and play. A full TB of space to fill up. The download speed is fine, it doesn't take forever. It can be formatted different ways - I had to enlist my husband for this because I'm a bit of a technophobe - but he did it for me in seconds. I had to buy an adaptor to use it with my ipad but that was the only extra I needed. It looks pretty and appeals to the Magpie in me that likes shiny things. I bought the pink, then the red. I need another now and am eyeing up the purple. If Sonnics would like to sponsor me I'll happily accept one 😜

Does the job well. I couldn't tell you if it can be used for consol as haven't used it for that.

Okay, but has limitations
The main reason for purchasing this was in order to back up my other peripheral storage drives. It wasn't until I started to back up video files that I discovered only a limited amount of space is allocated by the manufacturer to such files. Therefore, and unlike most other SSD drives that do not restrict file storage type use, if you want to fill this up with video files then this product is unsuitable for this purpose. Also, and again unlike most other manufacturers of SSD storage drives, the port connection is a standard USC-C type. As such it's not quite as stable as other types, so unless you intended it to remain as a static peripheral I'd recommend something else other than this product.
