One of the Best Value XLR Condenser Mics you can buy
The RØDE NT1 is honestly one of the best value XLR condenser mics you can buy at this price if you want clean professional warm sounding vocals without spending a ton on a meta mic like the Shure SM7B. The first thing you will notice while using this microphone is how well it rejects background noise around your room due to its cardioid pattern, which means the hiss is non existent. Sound wise, the mic is great for singing and voice overs because the mic does a fantastic job at focusing your voice in the front of the mic. Because it rejects noise from the sides and the back, this helps a lot if your room is not sound proofed, and the tone is not harsh or overly tinny sounding. Your plosives like P/BS are basically non existent if you use proper mic techniques. Overall, the Rode NT1 sounds way more expensive than it actually is. I can easily recommend this mic to anyone as a solid long term investment. Another thing I find incredible is how light the overall microphone actually is while not feeling super cheap or flimsy. It is a solidly built microphone and looks hella clean while sounding professional. While it is an XLR mic, it will need an interface for phantom power. The mic itself comes with a lot of accessories including a solidly built shock mount and a 20FT XLR cable. The setup is simple you simply just screw the mic into the shock mount though it might be a little hard the first time but gets easier the more you do it. Overall for the money, this is a great purchase. I've even had compliments in calls of how good my audio sounds since I use proper EQ settings as well.

Clean, Low‑Noise Performance for Any Recording Setup
The RØDE NT1 Signature Series is an excellent studio mic for anyone who wants clean, detailed vocals without spending a fortune. It has that classic NT1 sound—smooth, neutral, and extremely low‑noise—making it great for voiceovers, streaming, singing, and instrument recording. The self‑noise is so low that recordings come out crisp and professional even in less‑than‑perfect rooms. Build quality is solid, and the included shock mount and pop filter feel like real upgrades rather than throw‑ins. The mic has a sturdy, premium feel, and setup is straightforward. It handles sibilance well and captures a natural tone that’s easy to mix. If you want a reliable large‑diaphragm condenser that delivers studio‑grade clarity and pairs well with almost any interface, the NT1 Signature Series is a fantastic choice.

Amazing mic and value!
I love this mic. I've always wanted just a traditional xlr connection rode mic. I've owned their usb microphone previously before I had an audio setup. The microphone is really well built and very sturdy. You definitely need a boom arm or mic stand that can handle all of the weight. I love how it comes with the extra accessories that's made for the mic. The pink is always very pretty and accurate to the product photo. I was worried it'll come out a bit too hot pink but it wasn't!

RØDE NT1 Signature Series (10 out of 10)
I bought this microphone as a gift for my son. As a musician myself, I’d say this is an excellent starter microphone. It has clean lows, clear mids, and crisp highs. It requires 48V phantom power and works with just about any audio interface. Great quality for the price

Great recording microphone at an affordable price
I had been using a Shure condenser performance microphone for recording original music vocal compositions, and needed to upgrade to a true condenser recording microphone. Conducted a lot of research and finally decided on the RODE NT1; paid around $150 for the mic, shockmount and pop filter - RODE also included a mic cable in the package, which was a nice surprise. Proof was in the actual use in recording my vocal material in a home recording studio. Paired with a Scarlett Solo 3rd gen USB audio interface connected to my Mac laptop, using Garage Band to record vocal tracks. Easy to use, great sound quality of mic, and simple to share music files with my instrumental collaborator in another state. BIG improvement over my old setup - discovered just how much I'd been missing in making my previous recordings. Very happy with this RODE microphone, and I'm glad that I upgraded to it - just wish that I'd done so sooner.

For the price, its a solid mic. Nothing crazy. Only get if you don't allready have a decent mic.
Honestly, its good, but if allready have something like a bluebird or MXL 990, just use what you have. Barley hear a difference at all its so little that its not even noticeable by the time you throw some reverb on and effects. Does the job, good price, but if you allready have something decent, just stick with what you have. I prefer the sound of my 990, but this is not a bad mic. Goes great with my scarlette box. But ya, nothing special, just a decent mic. Price range does make it great thats fs. It will keep up with blubird which is more expensive, but so will the 990, so ya, it will sit on my shelf as a back up.
