I had gotten in so many compliments on this piece. It's just a beautiful statement. It's really heavy and good quality. Mcgee and Co has one really similar for way more expensive, and I have heard that it's not even that great.

What a beautiful piece of travertine! Well made, smooth surface and it’s pretty heavy. The neutral color would work well with any decor and would make a cute housewarming gift. Matches are not included, I can’t wait to fill it once I receive some. It’s going to be a beautiful accent piece!

I am using this for a toothpick holder instead of for matches. The weight is substantial and the quality of the carving and design is very pleasing. It comes with four little non slip pads that need to be attached after arrival. This goes perfectly in my kitchen and am very happy with this product. I recommend this for that extra special touch of aesthetics and taste for a utilitarian item in any kitchen.
