Both work out great. I noticed in the previous version, the buttons for the camera were a little inset. I wish this version had that too. As it is, they're flush with the edge of the cage. Reason this matters? When I have a tripod plate on the long end, on either side, I have to be careful about it not pressing the buttons. Boo! The best I have used. All the attachments worked perfectly, although the remote shutter button did die almost immediately, it only worked for a few clicks before the battery in it died.
