Did exactly what I expected them to do and were very easy to install.

Bars stuck together, won't telescope.
These bars appear to be good quality, and heavy duty. Not flimsy in any way. When they first arrived, and we removed them from the boxes, we thought we had a problem. The two parts of the modules wouldn't telescope. They appeared to be stuck together. I looked on the web site for any information about how to get them to telescope. I did a chat with the robot chatter, and asked a question about not being able to slide the segments apart. I received a very unhelpful reply that it sounded as if they were defective, and should be returned to the company. Riiight, like that was gonna happen. I searched reviews on the Amazon product page, and could find nothing about getting them unstuck. My husband finally got a rubber mallet, I held one end of the bars, and he whacked outwardly on the other end. After a few rather strong smacks, they started to move. At first, they only moved a little bit at a time, but finally they started sliding easily. After that, they were rather easy to install. I usually don't leave reviews, but after the problem that we had, and our confusion, and not being able to find any advice, I'm hoping that this might be helpful to someone.

Overpriced Junk
The included hardware is defective and will not secure the bars. The drywall anchors don't expand and the screws are cheaply made. They will not withstand force or prevent entry. The product is overpriced and wont secure your property.

Wrong order - TWICE
I ordered the 80-inch version. I received the 60-inch version twice. So disappointing! They seem ideal for my windows, but someone keeps messing up my order.
