Cellfast Lawn Edging Palisade, Brown, 10 pieces 2.4 x 0.3 m

Was amazed at how sturdy these were and how easy they were to install. Great design. They look really good in the garden too.

I purchased these to do my front garden edging. They were to hold the limestone chippings in place to stop them going on the path & they did the job to perfection as well as looking fantastic. They are not flimsy plastic and are quite sturdy but I did as others suggested the joined the pieces together to make the length I wanted and then dug out a trench. I made sure the trench was deep enough and had no stones in it and the just slotted in perfectly. I didnt have a rubber mallet but a normal small hammer knocked them in perfectly with no splits or chips. I would definately buy these again.

This edging is one of best I have ever used it easy to put in lovely straight goes in as a nice straight linen problem .

Have used wooden log rolls in the past, they are tedious to install, use lots of metal stakes and go rotten after a short few years. The plastic log rolls are really sturdy, having multiple fixings, easy to install and look absolutely great. Each box of rolls measures nearly 3 metres and, if assembled as a long run, can be very easy to install. Wish I had done this many years ago. Great value for money.

Have used in two instances, at the front of the house to contain a gravel border, and at the rear to border part of he garden/lawn. The pieces slide together quite easily and allow flexibility of the palisade, eg. I curved it around a round manhole cover. Depending on the type of ground you are putting them in you might want to dig small holes for the spike to go into to reduce the risk of damage to them - I have quite a lot of stone under the grassy area I used them with would have broken the spikes if not excavated first, in fact when using a rubber mallet to knock them in I manage to crack the top of one part slightly due to the resistance to stone underneath, Thr brown palisades that I got look great and blend in really nicely with environment, also a lot less hassle than some of the wooden edgring rolls that I've bought in the past.

It's ok gives a nice edging. The biggest issue with this is one box didn't go far enough, so went to order another box and there is only the option of buying 2.boxes! I don't want 2 boxes! So now in a dilemma xx

Have just purchased one pack of these to see what they looked like.... much better than what we have already down so have taken the bull by the horns and ordered enough to cover our large border. They look okay and weren't too difficult to put down. Obviously look very plasticky when up close, but from 10 yards or so away look very effective. Just got to take my time putting them all down and get them lined up nicely. Edit. Finished the complete border and have to say they look fantastic. And very easy to install, but admittedly I did this after some pretty heavy rain which obviously made the ground softer. No special hammer required, just took my time and treated them gently. Couldn't have been easier. Highly recommended.

Overall I found these easy to put together and install. Occasionally the sections required a little bit of brute force to slide together but more often than not they connected easily. As I was using these to separate a mid-sized lawn from the surrounding path and borders, connecting all of the pieces up before installing them (as recommended by other reviewers) wasn’t feasible for me doing the job on my own as the lengths would have been too long to handle. I connected 3-4 sections at a time, cutting off the final connecting edge with sharp scissors and then simply installed the next 3-4 section length immediately next to it. The ground was quite soft having recently been rotavated so I didn’t need to dig a trench - just pushing down on the palisades was enough to bury them to the correct depth but on firmer ground digging a trench would definitely be necessary. These should be easy to maintain and I have ordered a couple of extra boxes so I can repair any sections that break in future (they’re sturdy but would probably break if an adult trod directly on them). Four out of five stars as delivery time was long for both orders.

Ottimo prodotto, semplice da installare e resistente alle intemperie. Dopo un estate/inverno in Piemonte è rimasto dello stesso colore. L'ho utilizzato in esterno su un terreno piuttosto compatto, sul quale ho aggiunto uno strato di terra da giardinaggio, confinata dalla bordatura modulare. E' molto semplice creare bordi curvi anche complessi, esteticamente rende bene, non sarebbe stato male avere 5 Cm di altezza in più, ma sono comunque molto soddisfatto.
