Sadly had to return this item as long got the same bite but after a couple of weeks they started to get discoloured and get a yellowish tinge to them , I have returned them and reordered in black as they are a great and the magnet is quite strong compared to other brands .

The mechanism for keeping the air pod in gets in the way and causes them to fall out. When that happens, they don’t stay around your neck either. It’s a good idea, but poorly executed.

Initially saw a very neat gadget similar to this on a travel web blog where they recommended it to save you having to ferret about on the floor under your aeroplane seat looking for a dropped ear bud. While I haven’t travelled with my ear buds yet, this holder has saved them from being dropped many times already. Highly recommend it. (Black, or other colours would be nice but white’ll do for now.)
