In order to attach the C02 canister you need to first, twist lightly on the dispensers head and it will twist off, revealing where the canister will screw in. Remove the black plastic tab, twist the head back on a then simply screw the bottle in.

Works Super Great! This is one beautiful machine. It's so easy to use. After carbonating refrigerator cold water you pull forward on bottle. That releases the pressure in the bottle, twist off. That's it. I already have a empty liter bottle prepared. I pour the carbonated water into it. Gently shake or roll to mix. I pour it in clean soda or water bottles. put the cap on tight. and in a few minutes. I have a 6 pack of 16oz bottles ready to enjoy in my refrigerator. Since I only make a 6 pack at a time, they do not loose their carbonation.
