If you shoot hard you will need to watch for mushrooming or simply use a different stick on shots that require more power. If you don't have a problem maintaining your tip than this won't be a problem. Does it work for power shots? yes! Is it good long term for a soft tip? I'm not sure yet. However love it so far. Just wish the clear was thicker. I received both tips and I must say I am very pleased with the performance considering how soft the blue XS tip is. I have yet to use the black Soft tip but after using the XS I do feel it plays better than my K black Soft tip that came originally on my Purex LD shaft. I want to try the yellow medium or any other colors in the soft to medium range. Wanted to specify and say the ball control on the XS tip is amazing. I do think how you play depends on what tip will work for you.
