Far nicer sound than plastic nut.
Bought it for my Yamha f310 acoustic guitar, which had plastic (urea) nut and saddle. Length wise and width wise was a perfect fit to the slot. But height wise, it was shorter. I had to add on to its height, by gluing a thin plastic film to the bottom. (you can see the plastic I have added, in the picture, as a white part on bottom of the black nut) Anyway, it worked like a charm... Loved the brightened sound from tusq nut and saddle... I like bright sound for guitar, as I sing with a cappo on fretboard. I give it 5 stars, because the issue with the height was not the manufacturers fault... I should have measured accurately before purchasing it. I won't regret, as I did the work-around to play it fine... lol...

Best for sg special
Best replacement nut for a gibson sg special. Drops straight in, just a bit of filing off the length (approx 1mm). No more strings sticking in the nut...ever.

Conforme à l’attendu
Sillet acheté pour augmenter légèrement l’écartement des cordes de ma guitare, donc pas compatible à la base. Les dimensions semblaient conformes à la description (même si je n’y ai pas prêté une grande attention). J’ai gardé le radius du sillet ainsi que les encoches, pour le reste, j’ai du poncer l’ensemble. Facile à usiner, semble résistant, j’ai l’impression que la guitare sonne très légèrement plus clair, ce qui me convient très bien.

Tremendous improvement. Drop in replacement on Gretsch Electromatic Pro Jet
Tremendous improvement over stock nut on Gretsch Electromatic Pro Jet. Really brought the tone to life. I was going to upgrade the pickups, but I'm good with stock for a while thanks to the new nut. If you take this nut and drop it in a ceramic mug it will make a pinging sound. The old nut sounded more like a thud because this new tusq is so much harder . . . Which is a good thing. Fit the Gretsch without any modification. Just a drop in replacement. I did have to shim it up a bit because it was not tall enough, but not an issue. No sanding was needed. String spacing a little wider which is not a bad thing. Still plenty of width on fretboard. Strings do not bind and make that ping sound when tuning.

Es lo que dice
Me vino muy bien empaquetado, en perfectas condiciones, lo he comprado para sustituir una cejuela de plástica (muy mala) de una guitarra LTD EC-10, tuve que hacer algún ajuste pero ha quedado de las mil maravillas.
