Also replaced the wheel bearing and ball joints. The new axle's u-joint is significantly beefier but fit beautifully. Axle quality is good. I didn't have any clearance issues after assembled. CON 1. Axle nut contact points is beyond poor. Most of the bearing stress is near the points of the hex rather than on a bearing surface generally on a hex nut.
