Plates 24 Plates CH-Plate

We gave some of the plates to our grandkids to play with in their little kitchen play set and they eat on the others we bought. All have held up to the roughness of the kids and are great as their dinner plates too. Love the vibrant colors. I recommend these for young toddlers plates, just the right size too.

Exactly like the old style Ikea plates!! Great colours. Good sturdy quality. Comes as 4 individually wrapped groups so I can tuck some away until the other ones wear down.

Two years ago, we got a bunch of these to augment the ones we had from the original maker, designed by Henrik Preutz and sold at a very large internatiomal chain We found the originals in 2018 or before. Sadly, they were discontinued. These look exactly like them except for the missing logo. Also, they do not have information on the bottom (including care instructions), though they do contain a polypropylene symbol (#5). We treated both versions the same, including putting them through the dishwasher (no dry cycle, using entirely alternative - the more natural kind - dishwashing detergent). They all spent plenty of time outside. But they're not the same. Both kinds are intact and still shiny. The originals, having been in use three times as long, have received thousands of teeny scratches. But their colors are uniform and still bright. The ones from this new version - from a different manufacturer - have faded quite a lot, especially on the bottom and a quarter of the way up the sides. We will continue to use them as long as they hold up.
