I make my own coleslaw and thanks to the reviews I decided to buy a VeggiChop. I have not regretted it. I like that you can chop as large or as small as you like. It chops carrots, cabbage, peppers, lettuce, onions (no more tears) cucumber, beetroot and even tomatoes - these are the vegetables I have chopped so far. I am really looking forward to trying out other vegetables. The unit is not large and can easily sit on my worktop out of the way. Its very easy to use and wash. It works for me because I have a weak wrist and wanted something that wasn`t complicated to use. This is perfect. One of the best items I have bought - Thanks to the reviewers who have used this unit. I would definitely recommend it. The unit is a bit expensive for the size but I think its well worth the money and you get what you pay for.

This tool sped up meal prep time in the kitchen drastically, however on it's last few uses i noticed a small crack in the plastic bowl which has now turned into a much larger one and makes the device pretty much unusable as juice from vegetables seep out when I tried using it. I was a big fan but seeing how easily it broke, especially when I have been very careful cleaning it by hand (due to the blades being so sharp) I am very disappointed with the product.

This is revolutionary for cutting onions and garlic. It does it better than I would by hand in a fraction of the time. the only issue I have with it is that the cord eventually wears down. I've not marked this down as - when I went back to the manufacturer about this, they sent me out a new one. So customer service is also 5 star. Everyone should have one of these.

Love love this..I live on a Narrowboat and electricity is not as easy as in a house so this is just perfect..also nice and compact. It has made chopping onions and other veg a pleasure.. Works really really well and is much better than i thought it would be. Made some lovely Guacamole easily. Whizzed up my Grandsons food too. Only slight thing is cleaning the lid which must not be emerged but I swish water round the edges and use a sponge which seems to work well..

Great product, really easy to use and perfect for onions and salads - the listing states it has a storage lid, I returned the first product as the lid was missing, only to find the replacement also had the storage lid missing too! - it certainly looks like you don't get the storage lid which is a shame as the flexibility of storing in the fridge would have been very useful. Please take this into account when ordering.

Works well but the blades are lethal. I no longer use this device. I would recommend only using a dish washer to save your fingers.

Handy chopper for doing onions and other veggies. Gives you fine control over the end result chunkiness unlike electric processors, which would ruin a salsa or guacamole. Fun to use too - just watch out for the sharp blades! The only 'problem' is the lid unit cannot be immersed in water to be washed. Ridiculous! The string goes all soggy and eventually breaks, and you get all kinds of food bits trapped inside. (I bought another so I have two choppers, but only one working lid pulley). But - there is a solution. If you insert a teaspoon handle into the slot on the underside, you can easily separate the two halves for easy cleaning of the part of the lid that touches the food, while leaving the top part with the handle, spring and string out of the sink. It just needs the odd wipe. Why they don't make this part of the recommended usage instructions is beyond me.

Fungerar mindre än ettt år sedan är den trasig. Går sönder inuti mekanismen. 3 st har jag köpt nu. Sista höll ca 2 veckor innan den började att krångla. Mekanismen är för klen och bandet går i sönder efter ett tag. Aldrig ens diskad i maskin. Superbra maskin så länge den fungerar.

Er ist ein wahrer Alleskönner in meiner Küche. Insgesamt bin ich vom Chef'n VeggiChop begeistert und kann ihn allen empfehlen, die nach einem effizienten und vielseitigen Gemüseschneider suchen. Er spart Zeit und Aufwand beim Kochen und erleichtert mir die Zubereitung meiner Lieblingsgerichte.

This small device is so convenient to use to chop vegetables into pieces. If you want to mince them just keep pulling the top until they are the size needed. Works great for carrots, onions. Easy to clean and takes up less space then traditional food processors.

This hand-powered Veggichop is simple and compact, basically a mid-sized soup-bowl with a lid and blades! This hand-powered food processor (yeah, no electricity required folks) makes delicious dressings and easy Vegetarian/Vegan meals! Although, I have just been using it for a short time, I use it almost daily! I can appreciate the ease of use to get it ready, no messy long wires and strange plugs like a full-sized food processor :D. No need to haul and lug around that clunky, but efficient, electric food processor. This is the "guilt-free and grid-free" option to making your favorite fresh homemade salsas, pesto's and 'chunky' but funky hummus. However, the hummus does not seem to get down to a 'fine grain' like it's 'electric counter-part' produces, no pun intended (get it 'kitchen counter-part' lol). The dishes are tasty nonetheless, maybe try different fresh ingredients to get other results?! You can easily use this Chopper for fresh tomato pasta sauces, salsas or simple dressings, like my world famous 'Avocado-Coco" dressing! Take a 'Cauliflower head' and make some instant "Cauliflower-rice' for quick low-carb rice substitute. I mean why eat regular long grain Basmati rice, when you can have fresh Cauliflower rice at a minutes notice? Also perfect for mukbang.

I used this not only for onions, but also for chopping garlic, ginger and shallots. It is so easy and quick
