I bought this for my son and he absolutely loves it. It provides his owl little space to hide or just be comfortable. He loves the shark design. It’s durable enough for a four year old boy so it must be a good design!

My 6 year old received this as a gift from me for his birthday recently. He's in love with it. It's very soft, and it's large enough for him to stand in it with it over his head. He's fallen asleep in it multiple times since he received it, so I'd say it was a successful gift ;)

My 5 year old almost 6 year old daughter loved it for the softness and look. She is 47" tall and her head sticks out of the shark's mouth if she puts her feet in the shark's fins. So the blanket is short and for sure she will outgrow it in 1 year. Also it is a bit on the tighter side. My daughter is "skinny" but when she slips herself into this blanket, there is little wiggle room. She was able to get herself into a fetal position and almost completely hide her body inside but she got claustrophobic doing so. This isn't a good or bad thing. It's just something to be noted. Blankets should fit snug in my opinion but I know that some people/kids may prefer a looser fit especially if your child is a little wider. So for me it is a small fit. The listing says it's 60 x 20 inches. I believe the 20inches measurement. I am not sure what measures 60 inches on this blanket if my daughter is 47 inches tall and the blanket this doesn't completely cover her. The other thing is the stitching in half of the white of the shark's eye is defective (see image). It looks as if not enough white stitching was used so the grey flannel is peering through the white stitch. Lastly the shark's teeth ( see image) are made out of thin felt and it makes me wonder if this will hold in a wash. But regardless if the felt teeth will hold, it looks really cheap. I would have preferred flannel teeth that matched the fabric of shark body. This for sure would make the blanket more expensive but I I think it would be worth the extra cost. I will be returning this item just because there were too many things wrong with the blanket we received- but mostly the small size was the issue.
