This works great. I used much less than Amdro Ant killer on my Texas fire ants. Amdro has stopped working for me. Maybe my ants have become immune. But, very little of this took out my fire ants.

I had an ant problem underneath our paver fire pit area and all I could think of was an huge colony just waiting to push up my pavers. I had our pest control company come out to take care of it and within a few days, they holes appeared again. I decided I would give this a try on my own and after the first application, I can say that I have not seen another ant hole appear. It is nice to have this product on hand so I can apply it at the first sight of any new activity to stop it quickly.

Good project and easy to deploy.

I've been using Spinosad for over 20 years to control Texas fire ants. After one full week, this product clearly does not work, see the video. The fire ants won't even touch it like other products. The granules seem too large for them to carry off like I have seen them do with other brands. The package states on the back that it controls “ants” (excluding fire ants, harvester ants, Pharaoh's ants, and carpenter ants). This is the majority of any type, is it not? And yet the bag clearly states on the front that it is an “ant killer.” Should be reworded to say “kills a minority of ants.” The product description here on amazon states: “Ant Adios is effective at controlling fire ants when applied as directed, using its biologically derived spinosad formula to eliminate the ants and prevent further infestations. However, results may vary depending on the severity of the infestation.”

It was delivered quickly and I spread some. I have not noticed any dead yet but will try to update.

Sprinkled most of the bag around my 180-sq-ft garden. Saw no change in the number of Argentine ants.

We had an infestation under our above ground pool. Used this last year and will continue to apply twice a year from now on.

I applied this to the perimeter of my home, after three days the ants slowed down and disappeared. Even better is my chickens at almost all of this stuff and they were unharmed, and the bait still worked. pretty good product if you need something safe for pets. I had to lock my chickens up for a week after placing the second dose of this stuff so they would not eat it all though.
