Great strong protein flour. Used for sourdough bread.. quality was good. 16 kg package... Good value and long best before date

Okay it's got the folic acid added already , but it's an absolutely great flour makes a brilliant loaf of bread 🍞 and I can't think of anything negative to say

I’ve tried different sorts of strong bread flours and decided to give this a go, it came well packaged the bag is really thick, was worried it might be split with ordering a 16k bag, I can really see a difference in my bread, rise taste and texture are a real improvement, this is my go to bread flour now, makes great Yorkshire puddings too!

Flour is excellent. I did have issue with quality of packaging. Bag arrived split. I do understand delivery company can be little careless so maybe better to use some stronger box.

One of the best bread flours I have used. I have always made my own bread and found sourcing good bread flour almost impossible during the Covid lockdowns as it seemed like everybody else caught on to how good homemade bread is! This flour, delivered to my door in such a large bag, was ideal and I haven’t used any other since. The bread rises well and, just as importantly, holds the rise. I wouldn’t use any other bread flour now.

I ordered from By Direct and was astonished when it arrived by Royal Mail 24 hr tracked. I am immensely impressed. I ordered yesterday and it arrived in Northern Ireland today. The flour is a good all rounder for bread, pasta etc. It has a good flavour and keeps well. The date on the bag is July 2021 so 9 months which is great. We make our own bread in a bread machine and this works well. It is excellent for sourdough as well. During the lockdown I made a lot of different things using this flour. This is my second bag. I ordered the first bag of Manitoba flour direct from Marriages and it cost as much again for delivery which was a bit eye watering. By Direct don’t charge any extra which was excellent.

I liked the product itself, so I was disappointed by how this order went. My 16kg flour bag arrived in a crushed box, split open with flour spilled everywhere inside — completely unusable. I reached out with photos straight away, but over more than a week all I got back were repeated updates about an ongoing courier investigation, with no actual refund or replacement offered. In the end I had to go through Amazon directly to get it sorted, which they did quickly and properly. Shame really, because I do rate the product — just wish customer service had actually sorted it out instead of dragging things out.
