AgGreat little SSD Drive, the only failing was from Me as I should have invested in a 1 T with twice the memory and I am now saving up together one. Having said that there is nothing wrong with this great drive, it is Faster than I expected as my first SSD purchase, its just that I have accumulated a lot of photos which I am reluctant to get rid of but love the fast access to them. It will still get used as it is a handy drive and am very pleased with it! Delivery was also excellent all in all a great Purchase!

Not much to say but I've had it for a few months and it works well and gives me a decent speed with a 2.5" non SSD drive.

I've been a fan of Transcend products for many years, but lately I feel as if they are no longer a cut above the rest. They are just "okay". It works, it's light weight, but not the type of quality I have in their older products. Pet gripe? No on/off button. Second gripe? No rubber feet of any sort to keep the aluminium from scuffing. Even the two end facias made slightly larger would have been enough to keep me happy. I bought it to house my old SSD and it works well enough. I had to put in something cushy as a buffer to prevent the drive from banging around inside. So it's okay, but it's not great.

The Transcend enclosure behaves in the same fashion as an off the shelf branded USB drive in that it actually unmount/ejects the disk so it stops spinning. Every single one of the USB enclosures I have bought from Amazon leave the disk spinning after they should have been fully ejected. Furthermore the button on the Transcend can re-mount the drive without unplugging it and then plugging it back in. This is a few more quid than the cheapo enclosures but it is 100% better in every regard, the aluminium build quality is also excellent and it comes with screws and a short USB 3.0 cable.

Tried to down load back up computer , went on for ever unplugged it and it was kaput 50 down the drain none repairable.. Back to thumb drive.

I've used quite a few drive enclosures over the years. This is up there with "best ever" -- easy to put together and connect, and interface performance seems excellent too. And a great way to recycle a newly homeless but otherwise perfect hard disk.

I bought this enclosure to house the HDD from a laptop. While the enclosure was a perfect fit it was extremely tight all the way around literally an exact fit which is a good thing but very difficult to put together. The enclosure is aluminium except for the ends which are plastic and it has a small LED light which which indicates when it is in use. The problem with this enclosure is that it only works with my Windows 10 laptop it does not work in my Linux Mint desktop computer. It seems the desktop USB does not supply enough power for the enclosure to work. I have Western Digital external drives that work with the Linux computers USB ports without any problem and a number of other peripherals that have no problem with the ports. For this reason I cannot recommend and this Transcend enclosure and although I am keeping it to use with the laptop I do not think it was a good purchase.

ssdにて利用しました。 組み立ても楽でしたし、pcとの接続も問題ありませんでした。 スペース的にギリギリということもなく良かったです。 ただし、ドライバーは付属していないので外付け用のケースを初めて購入される場合はそこには注意です。
