If you've been holding back on getting a VR headset for gaming, this is a good one to pick up
I'll spare rewriting the tech specs as they're already in product description. I'll be sharing my experience with Meta Quest 3 purely as a gaming device. I have my games library on Steam. So naturally I've curated all my VR games there as well as it's hell a lot cost efficient and sensible compared to Meta's overpriced marketplace. Plus Steam seems to have a much wider range of much more competitive VR games in their library for very reasonable prices and absolute steal deals during Steam Sales. A- If you want to play through your pc wireless, you'll need to install Meta Quest link app and Steam VR on your pc. With these and your Quest 3 connected to Wifi, you can render the game on your pc, have it stream start to your headset. For best experience I upgraded to a Wifi 6 router, 5Ghz bandwidth support. B- If you want to play wired, it'll be great if can arrange a high quality ctype to ctype link cable and your pc supports ctype input then that's even better. The device has a run time of almost 2hrs in one charging based on what's your headset resolution, refresh rate and other settings. I've noticed if you're playing through your pc and let the audio come from your pc instead of inbuilt speakers in headset, you can save up on battery charge that goes in providing sound output otherwise. The games I've played on Quest 3 through Steam: 1- Beat Saber - Great game, extremely high replay value, great physical activity substitute. 2- Pistol Whip - Same as beat saber but you feel like John Wick! 3- Bonelab/Boneworks - Fun physics sandbox and shooting 4- I expect you to die - Comedic puzzle solving 5- Hitman World of Assassination - The latest Hitman Trilogy but in VR, definitely worth experiencing 6- Phasmophobia VR - Co-op Ghost Hunting in VR, so so much fun, absolutely must try! In my collective experience, the device functionality has been really great, battery life could be better and in terms of the type of games you can expect and should go for - While it's fun to think of playing a slowburn unfolding openworld like Skyrim or a similar game, you might find yourself realising that more faster paced games like Pistol Whip and Beat Saber feel the best experienced on this medium, any game that is slow, takes time, takes exploration and less action might make you feel bored and tired faster than the prior example as games like Pistol Whip and all are asking to HIIT workout and keep you on your toes and keeps pumping you with dopamine hits as you move your body around to hit the targets. In more exploration heavy games you might feel tired because body movement is less and with less physical movement the weight of the device hanging in front of your eyes and the feeling of feet ache since you've mostly been standing still not moving much will overcome the eagerness to explore the game quite fast. This might differ from person to person. But all in all, great device for playing games, I really hope they reiterate and improve its battery life further.

Great VR experience, but few practical limitations to note
I am using Meta Quest 3 for the past few days and sharing my real experience. First of all, it is definitely value for money. One will not get disappointed with the overall VR experience. For VR movies, I feel the quality should improve a lot. For 2D flat movies, don’t expect OLED-like clarity or something equal to tablets/mobiles. 4K movies display is good, but if you purposely look for the pixels, you can see them clearly. Best way to enjoy is to ignore the pixels and focus on the image — then you will really enjoy the streaming. Streaming speed is fast, no complaints there. Coming to apps, VR apps are limited and most of them are paid/subscription-based. This device really suits tech and gadget lovers who know how to handle setup. If you are planning to gift someone, make sure they are technically capable, otherwise they will struggle even to handle. In-built headstrap is not good and keeps loosening, so you must buy a better strap separately. Battery life is very low (around 1.5 to 2 hrs), but the good part is you can watch while charging. Build quality is solid and you can comfortably use it even with spectacles. One downside I noticed is eye burning sensation even when wearing specs. Long usage may affect eye health, so better to limit the usage duration. Overall, a very good deal for first-time and casual VR users. But if you are expecting no-compromise video clarity especially for VR movies, then you should go for higher-end models.

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ Excellent Visuals, Great for Movies, Battery is the Only Downside
The picture quality of the Meta Quest 3 is outstanding. I highly recommend using it with the Kiwi Comfort Head Strap for much better comfort. Watching Netflix and Amazon Prime feels almost like having a personal home theatre. The screen clarity and immersion are amazing. VR games are also excellent, but intense games can cause slight dizziness after 40–60 minutes. I don’t feel dizzy at all while watching movies or using social media—only with fully immersive games. The hand tracking is extremely accurate and makes the device very easy to use. It’s almost as good as Apple Vision Pro (Gen 1), which is impressive. Battery life is the main drawback. On maximum brightness, it can’t last a full 2–3 hour movie. I use 20,000 mAh power banks, keeping it connected while watching, and then it easily lasts all day. Overall: Fantastic device for movies, series, and VR gaming—just keep a power bank handy.

A huge leap in VR and mixed reality
I’ve been using the Meta Quest 3 for a while and I’m extremely impressed. The pass-through quality is excellent, letting me interact with my room clearly without removing the headset. The displays are sharp, colors are vibrant, and the improved performance makes every game feel smooth. Hand tracking is much more reliable now, and the new controllers feel lighter and more accurate. The mixed reality apps are surprisingly useful and fun. Battery life is decent, but for longer sessions, an external power bank or a head strap with a battery pack is definitely required. The overall build quality feels premium, and the price is very reasonable compared to other high-end VR headsets in the market. Considering the hardware, features, and performance, Quest 3 offers incredible value. If you’re looking for a standalone VR headset that delivers top-tier VR and MR performance, the Meta Quest 3 is the best option right now.

Fake description. No free games or bundle offer
The product was working fine and was a brand new one. Am totally satisfied with the product till now. Irresponsible seller, No response and no promised game or offers. Will never get the free bundle offer or the game as free. The description is totally misleading and making flase claims by seller and amazon. I tried to contact both seller and amazon for getting the bundle offer and the game Asgard Wrath 2 for past 10 days. There is no response from the seller and even amazon is least concern with issue. Had multiple chat with amazon team and no use. The last call before putting this review was with the amazon specialist team which was the worst customer call I had, that he told he don't have anything to do as seller is not responding with issue and he just ended the call. Very pathetic amazon service even not hearing or Trying to solve the issue with the seller from their end. At least try not to put additional offers is you can't deliver it.

Revolutionary VR Experience and an excellent product...!
Even though it's the most expensive and mostly unnecessary purchase I ever made in my life, it still is the best purchase I've made till now. I'm writing this after a 1.5 week of using this and till this day I'm just exploring it as there's so much to do in it and using it. Starting off with the order and delivery: Using the ICICI bank credit got me 4,000 rupees off from the total cost and delivery was done in 1.5 days from the seller from Chennai to Bangalore. Arrived in very safe packaging with no crack or dent on the box from Delhivery. 👍🏻 Opening up the box carefully gives you all the things mentioned in the product. Started it off just like the tutorials mentioned, completed the profile setup and the rest of the settings configurations. Pros: I've tried almost everything it can do to this point with it, when it comes to generic work/ productivity, entertainment, games etc. The product is remarkable for what it can do. The performance is top-notch, no log whatsoever anywhere, visuals are stunning in the apps and movies. Connectivity with bluetooth and controllers is seamless. Pixel spreading is done fantastically on the pancake lenses. Everything is quite sharp as well. It gives you dozens of settings as well to configure the product according to your liking. Many visual experiences will leave you in awe. Batman: Arkham Shadow and Asgard's Wrath: 2 being the most powerful examples of he point. The sound via the built-in speakers is very immersive as well. UI is quite well built and is easy to access everything but there's a lot of improvement required to make it customisable although the Spatial app makes the UI just like Apple Vision Pro but at a cost. More updates will hopefully fullfill these requirements. Cons: It is so much fun to play around/ work and watch multimedia in it that you feel like the 2 hr battery run time isn't even close to enough. So I would recommend everyone to get a power bank with similar Ampere and Wattage attached to it to extend your juice. Connectivity of it with PC wirelessly to use your PC in the headset still lags even with the v69 update with my laptop. But I'm sure the link cable, which I haven't tested yet, will solve this problem for PCVR games and general multitasking work. Most of the fun and useful apps in the Meta Store are still paid and some are paid even if you activate your 3-month Meta Quest+ trial. None of the above are the cons of the product itself. Conclusion: The product and my experience with it has been fantastic and still there is much to explore. If you are happy with spending the price, you would be very happy with the product as well! Thanks!

Good for gaming but not for work
I think it’s the best consumer device for immersive gaming. But I returned it after 1 day uses because I am not a gaming person. After watching lots of review videos on YouTube, I was almost convinced that I can use it for my work but alas, that’s not the case. UI could have been better, specially the Home Screen. Most frustrating part was rearranging the windows. I had a bit of headache after using it for couple of hours continuously. Strap is very bad and lost hairs because of it.
