Brand new Review: Great Product. - If you work with wood and have other Dewalt 20v tools you need this router. I have been looking at buying a cordless router for a about a year to make smoothing edges easier and more convenient while being comfortable. This guy does the trick, plus it's half the price as one from a big box store. I have two different sizes of batteries a 2ah and an 8ah and the router is still balanced and easy to use. Don't know why it took me so long to make this purchase. Review: Great handheld router - Lot’s of power with this unit. All of my router are corded. Nice to have this unit in the tool bag. Easy to handle and use. Glad I bought it! Wouldn’t expect anything less from DeWalt! Cheers, Danbo

Great handheld router
Lot’s of power with this unit. All of my router are corded. Nice to have this unit in the tool bag. Easy to handle and use. Glad I bought it! Wouldn’t expect anything less from DeWalt! Cheers, Danbo

Great compact router
My husband loves this compact router and uses it all the time for smaller projects and tight areas. It is not really loud and works wonders when his other router is too big. Most of his tools are DeWalt.

The balance is odd. All the weight is in the battery impairing handling and precision when cutting. Maybe try using a tiny battery pack for better results?. The machine itself is nice, well constructed and powerful.
