These mini lock quick release are the most reliable and nice to use of all the different mini lock quick releases available. The cheaper ones are alright, but not as rock solid as the kondor blue quick locks. I've never had a doubt they could hold my 5-inch monitor/recorders, microphones mounted on cameras/poles, audio recorders clamped with a magic arm. With all the versatile ways to mount/connect, these can handle anything you throw at them! Highly recommended!!

Solidly made and a perfect fit for several applications. I use it to mount power distribution iron block to my cage, and this makes assembly a snap, literally. The locking ever is solid and functions well. This is surprisingly versatile.

Build quality is good, makes it easy to switch out components, I wish it came with a extra plate for the price.

While not mentioned on Kondor Blue’s website, (unless I missed it), the mini lock works fine to attach a iPhone video cage rig to a tripod. At least in my case it is more than strong enough to hold the cage with all the usual parts, iPhone, usb-c hub, power brick, and ssd.

This quick release feels solid and dependable for holding my monitor on different mounts I switch between. It’s quick enough that moving from gimbal to tripod and back is really easy. I did, however, expect the lock switch to be spring-loaded, similar to most standard camera quick-release plates. So, if you’re expecting to slide the plate into the receiver and hear a satisfying automatic click, keep in mind that you’ll need to lock it manually with your finger.

Give this one an award quick to the draw in and out can handle any load I put on it able to put in multiple positions. Also, use separately.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This product is almost a 10/10. I only wish that the ANTI-TWIST of the male plate worked reversibly for the 1/4-20. Like I wish I could insert anti-twist rods INTO the holes, not only have it extend OUT of the 1/4-20. Still, this is the industry standard for a reason when it comes to quick releases.

This is perfect for use with my action cameras. I use it for my car (on the glass) and for my tripods. Not as smooth as the original Kondor blue, but cheaper and does the job.
