After using a 'back corrector' with shoulder straps which cut into my husband's shoulders and my breast area and were returned, I went with 2 of these basic back braces, and they work wonderfully well! My husband has multiple back issues, and I have a swayback and also fell and had a minor fracture on T12 vertabrae and should wear a brace. This brace is easy to use, fits well, gives great spinal stability, helps both of us with posture, and we can wear this brace either over or under clothes. It's usually an all day wear for both of us, and though it gets kind of tiresome to wear a brace all day long, (we take short breaks from it), it's worth it in every way. We're seniors with osteoporosis, and my husband has scoliosis and kyphosis, so the difference in both his posture and pain relief are amazing. For me, I have a sway back due to a transitional vertabrae in my lumbar/sacral area, and this gives SO much spinal support that I'm wondering why no doctor ever suggested this sooner. The brace is also a must right now so that the T12 vertabrae will heal, and I do have good pain relief from the brace. At any rate, the brace gets a full 5 stars from both of us! Good value for the cost and true to size.

The only reason I didn’t give this a 5 star is because the measurement chart seems wrong. I measured myself and ordered according to the chart. But when the brace arrived - I was borderline on returning it and ordering one size larger. But the belt has been very beneficial to my back surgery pain and healing.

Picked this brace as an Amazon Recommended item and boy, is it ever. Had a herniated disk and am using this during recovery. It really helps to strengthening the back. It is fully adjustable and comfortable to wear. The velcro stays where you put it. I am 6’ and 210lbs and the Large fits perfect. Great value for the money. Buy with confidence.

It’s a good basic back brace, adjustable over a fairly wide range so go with the recommended size. The wide Velcro straps require a bit of effort to pull loose. That’s good but it could be a pain if multiple people are using it. Each person should have their own strap so that the user can set the fitting strap then they only have to pull it on and attach the other strap in front. Remember the logo doesn’t need to be in front. I use mine when I shovel snow to prevent back problems. Don’t let it give you a false sense of security so you over exert yourself. Also helps with posture.

We just got our 3rd snowstorm of the year. The 1st 2, I used our new snowblower and, because it's not self-propelled, meant a lot of pushing and I ended up with a very sore back. Enter the 3rd snowstorm and my new Sparthos back brace. 45 minutes later through snow that was great for packing, my back is ache-free. This back brace worked wonderfully. It's not bulky, kept my back supported and pain-free. Its overall design is very nice and easily fit under my shirt. The velcro is definitely rugged. I didn't use the included lumbar support pad because I really didn't have to lift anything heavy. Great support for light duty but make sure that you size it properly. If sized too big, there will not be enough Velcro to pull the hooked end of the belt as tight as you might want it to be. I bought one size too large. It worked for putting on over a coat but not over just a tee shirt. So, I bought the next size down and it was perfect. I even found that for weight training, I could put the larger belt over the one that fit and now had support that matched some lighter duty weight belts that I had used in my younger days.

I previously ordered this product from a different supplier and got a different brand, then I reordered from Sparthos themselves using this link and got what I ordered, and after using it for a short time I felt some relief from my disc problem, so I highly recommend getting this product l, just make sure to get it from Sparthos themselves.
