The notebook has card slots that you can either slip in credit cards/ID card or business card, and are fairly sturdy to keep them in place. The front cover of the notebook has a front pocket that you can slip a pen/pencil, and it can hold placing a decent size mobile phone in the pocket (I would choose one or the other and try to put both).The paper inside the notebook is respectable in terms the line spacing is good and it has ample room to make your notes. Lying the notebook flat on a surface, however split a few of my pages inside of it, so it could be a minor issue due to quality control. Also, on the inside is a ribbon to mark your place in the journal and the notebook has a pen holder sewn on the inside of the notebook.
