It’s for women.  Men could use it to shape their eyebrows after trimming with scissors, but not anywhere else.

How do I change the blade

The first time you remove the blade we have heard can be a bit tricky on certain devices. Don’t be afraid to use a bit of force for the first time. Your next time replacing the blade will not be as tough as it’s just the first time that we’ve noticed can require a bit more force. Try holding the sides of the blade with the cover on and grasp the top of the blade with the top pointed into your palm applying pressure to both sides with your thumb on one side and index or middle finger on the other. Then using your other thumb, push from the back of the blade. Don’t be afraid to apply pressure as the tool is comprised of high quality material and will not be easily damaged. Make sure you are pushing down with your thumb and don’t be afraid to pull down with your other hand. 
Please do ensure the plastic cover is on while doing this.

No it’s not battery operated just a blade. It has to be controlled by yourself for dermaplanning, very good product.
