Review: Hope restored!!! - So far I’ve tried a few different flavors. I’ve ordered: Banana cream Peanut butter chocolate Strawberry cream And the peanut butter marshmallow but it wasn’t sent, and I received the natural PB chocolate I’ve used a plethora of protein powders over the past 20 years. Mostly due to dietary restrictions, and overall health and fitness goals in mind. I love the blend concept, just still trying to find a good brand so I don’t have to mix it all myself and have a ton of stuff lying around. Banana cream (7/10) is good, I add Greek yogurt and a banana w ice and it makes it really good. Chocolate peanut butter (3/10) is ok, but kinda has a medicine taste to it. The natural version is even worse. I add powder PB to both but it doesn’t get rid of that aftertaste. I doubt I’ll buy either one again. Strawberry cream (8 or 9/10) is amazing!!! I’ve tried about every strawberry protein and believe me I was sick to death of strawberry, vanilla and chocolate when I tried these. But this one is pretty damn good! It tastes like something you’d expect from a big chain juice bar. My kids even like the taste. I will continue to try other flavors. Might buy the sample packs, and go from there. I also want to try some other brands to compare, but I’m pretty impressed. It’s a little more per tub and you get about a lb less than a normal whey, BUT you also don’t know what you get anymore and it seems most are amino dumping and filling product with junk fillers. Had some hiccups on my last order, but it seems to have been resolved. The seller really came through even though it seemed to have been mistakes on someone else’s part. I really admire companies that take accountability even when it’s not their fault, so that deserves an honorable mention.

It's interesting how almost 10 years after learning about Trutein Cinnabun on a random Reddit post, it's still the best tasting protein powder I've tried so far - hands down. And the protein ratio, if true, is such a good value too. Now I'm excited to try the other two flavor samples I bought.

So far I’ve tried a few different flavors. It's interesting how almost 10 years after learning about Trutein Cinnabun on a random Reddit post, it's still the best tasting protein powder I've tried so far - hands down. I started using this protein after some extensive internet research when trying to find a protein that was not all whey due to lactose intolerance. I have lost over 20 lbs within 4 months; I incorporated Trutein into my healthier diet with frequent exercise to accomplish that. This, of course, is based off my tastebuds. If you don't like mint, stay away from the Shamrock Shake. If you don't like Eggnog, well, don't buy the Eggnog, so on and so forth. Recommended flavor by itself with water only (therefore pretty much good in anything); Chocolate, Vanilla Bean, Cinnabun, Shamrock Shake, Pumpkin Pie, Eggnog, Cookies & Cream Recommended with milk/almond milk/etc; Banana Cream (also good with fruit juice), Lemon Meringue Pie Needs adjustments to flavor; Mocha - no good by itself, and I love coffee flavored things, but if you split it with chocolate is much more edible Peanut Butter Marshmallow Cookie - actually tasted just like the name but the PB is kinda muted, would much rather put actual PB in my shake, you could add PB to this if you really dig the marshmallow taste at risk making it too sweet Birthday Cake - worst one by far so far, and I like BC flavor things. Wouldn't bother for a drink, may be good for protein pancakes or mug cakes I will update as I have a few more flavors to try
