Adidas Mens Terrex Ax4 Wide Hiking

Great quality and confort. New Adidas favorite for me

Bought for a trip to be full of hiking in rainy weather. Held up very well. feet stayed dry. Walked in them for hours a day and they felt great. Size/fit is pretty accurate...maybe a tiny bit large, but you can put on a couple pairs of socks or thicker socks if hiking hours a day. At under $90, very happy with these.

These are not gore-tex shoes. They are very comfortable and went on a hike to test out some features. I can easily walk over small rocks and don't feel a thing. The continental rubber thread is amazing. Never lost confidence while climbing or descending steep trails. The front toe section is very rugged and looks like it could take a beating. I compared them side by side to my 2 year old Altra Lone Peak 6 which were very comfortable at first but now are wore down to the bone. Although the ad was misleading in saying these are Gore-Tex, these Terrex shoes look like they are built to last but only time will tell. So far I am a happy Hiker!!

This version of the Adidas AX4 is not Gore-Tex although this reseller is advertising as being so. Some versions are Gore-Tex but Adidas does not make this style in Gore-Tex and I live on the North California coast where water proofness is of paramount importance and this shoe isn't even remotely water resistant. The Gore-Tex versions all have Gore-Tex badging and this version does not so it was either intentionally or carelessly misrepresented buy the reseller as being waterproof / Gore-Tex. Useless to me and being returned immediately. Note in the photos the lack of Gore-Tex labeling / badging unlike actual Gore-Tex versions.

OMG affordable sneakers that are comfortable? and from adidas? They are truly trail running/hiking sneakers as the treads to grab the dirt very well. (just don't track it into the house). They look great, feel great and affordable. Love the style, I purchases a 2nd pair so when 1 pair wears out eventually, I have a brand new pair.

I have trouble finding shoes that are wide enough in the mid foot. The wide version is perfect and super comfortable. As other sellers have pointed out, they run short. I ordered my usual size of 10.5 Wide and my big toe hit the end. The 11 Wide was perfect. I think amazon sorted out the issue with gore-tex models being mislabeled. These are not the goretex version.

This was the third pair I bought, dropped for 5 stars to barely 3. First two fit was great, very comfortable, quality construction, good shoe for all day, everyday use. The last pair something off in the big toe area, like the shoe is too small but only at the big toe and only on the right.shoe, left shoe was as the prior pairs. Both shoes show same size, not an all day shoe and definitely not for walking. Unfortunately passed the 30 day return window as bought when on sale

The Adidas Terrex is an awesome line of trail shoes comfortable enough for every day wear. I enjoy them so much I am now on my 3rd pair. I also purchased a pair for my wife who likes them as much as I do.

Bought these shoes when i was looking for something with good tread and wide toe box to accommodate my bunion. Ive used these pair of shoes for 80 days straight and i have to say they were super comfortable, nice and wide for my foot with a bunion, insole has good cushion performance and breathability was excellent for keep my foot cool or when wicking off moisture or if soaked in water. lastly the Continental rubber tread stood up really well as there was quite good grip to the surface to push off of without slipping out and looking at them now they haven't worn down much at all VERY impressed with the performance of these shoes

Usually happy with adidas products, this shoe is well made but very uncomfortable to wear, painful at the ankles, therefore I returned it. Bought a Merrell hiking shoe instead and it fitted much better.
