Decent quality paper straws in a variety of 6 colours. Colours are not overly bold, but some are a bit stronger than 'pastel' shades. Printed with 'food safe ink'. Worth noting that these have a 'Caution' advice on the box against using them in hot drinks. Is that because the straws will go soggy and loose their shape with a hot liquid, or because the straw colours will run into the drink? Actual length of the straws are 19.7cm. -------------------- We've also ordered these: 150 Pack Paper Drinking Straws Rainbow and Candy Series for Everyday,Party,Wedding,Celebration. (Rainbow) which are the same straws as above but for about £3 cheaper - BUT will take a lot longer (from China) to arrive - and we couldn't wait that long. If you don't mind the wait and the fact that they are internally separated by clear plastic bags..... --------------------- UPDATE: 5-6 weeks after purchase, the identical (& cheaper) straws from China finally arrived. There was no cardboard box, just 6 packets of plastic wrapped straws inside a thin grey plastic mailing bag. Result = two thirds of the straws arrived squashed. (Unfortunately, I'm unable to review these other straws directly because the wonderful unbiased Amazon won't publish a negative review if it relates to packaging!) I strongly suggest you stick to the ones being offered here (fulfilled by Amazon). The cheaper price difference buying directly from China isn't worth the extra wait, the damaged straws .. or the extra plastic! --------------------- I originally gave this a 4 star review. A loss of 1 star based on the fact that there was better value for money (for the same product) elsewhere (directly from China) on Amazon. Having experienced both products, the review for this listing is now upped to 5 stars!

These are stylish, eco friendly and exactly as described. Perfect for a wedding or party. I just use them at home, and they are exactly the ones you'd find in any restaurant or bar. As with any paper straws, they go a bit soggy towards the end.. But overall, I'm pleased with these !

Really great, and more environmentally friendly for when you actually need straws (parties etc). Get a little softer in drinks after a few hours, but they don't flop or bend in my experience. The mixed colours are super cute too.

Nice and colourful straws, as with any paper straw, not long lasting, end up using multiple across an event. These are nice but we are getting Strudels next time - pasta straws!

Does what I want them to do, doesn’t disintegrate touching liquids even after a couple of hours. Sometimes there’s a strange taste however it’s not overpowering.

My boys love these!! Great alternative to their useable plastic straws - they have asked for more of these. One thing I would recommend you doing is maybe putting them in a container or cover the bottom of the box with something just in case they get put on a wet surface and all the straws become wet.

Lovely brightly coloured straws at a great price. Only last the length of one G & T then they start to collapse. Don’t let this deter your purchase though as this is expected as they’re of course made of paper!

A blast from my past. They are not as strong or as durable as plastic straws but they will last for a drink even with young children chewing the ends, and will hardly break the bank if more are needed. More importantly they are, without doubt, infinitely better for the environment which is why most cafes, bars and fast food outlets are switching from plastic to paper.
