Bamboo Cutting Board, End Grain Butcher Block for Kitchen, Extra Thick 1.7"

Wonderful Butcher Block bamboo Cutting Board. I have owned many in the past in this far exceeds my expectations. I would recommend it to anybody. Customer service representative Anthony was super in connecting with me to verify my satisfaction.

This is indeed XXL. Its thick and heavy. I needed a cutting board that stay in place wether I'm working my bread dough or cutting veg. This board serves all my purposes.

This is a good chopping board and I especially like the thickness and size but I would rather it didn’t have the plate insert. I would have preferred it to be a solid board but I couldn’t find a thicker bamboo board. Hence the 4 stars.

Love the bamboo finish. It's a beautiful product made with excellent craftsmanship. Keep it oiled and it will last years. I don't cut meat directly on the board. I line it with a plastic bag and place parchment paper over the plastic before chopping or slicing. My knives are sharp so I don't apply too much pressure to avoid creating deep grooves in the wood. Even though the board is labeled as self- healing it should be used with care.

I have purchased numerous cutting boards for my wife over the years, but this is by far the absolute best would definitely recommend

High quality and worth it. This is my go to cutting board for near daily use. Doesn’t dull my chef-level knives. Easy to clean. Love the cutout for the prep plate to slide food onto once chopped. It is sturdy with the sticky pads (included). It is hefty so if you have strength issues. Bonus: it looks great on my island counter.

Beautiful! This cutting board is not only functional but absolutely gorgeous!! I have only used it a couple times but I will update in longevity! So far, I am very pleased!!

The plate is kinda stupid. Why send me a plastic plate with a nice cutting board? Why package the place in Styrofoam? Just take out the plate (most people have a real plate) and plastic and Styrofoam packaging - the world really doesn't need it. The cutting board seems pretty solid. I wish it had a hook for hanging and that the groove went all the way around so juice didn't run off. It smelled a little but after washing it it didn't. Is does make be wonder what the wood is treated with - I'm assuming the appropriate oil?

Can say without reservation- wood is immaculate in design. Being someone who refurbished furniture in another life, I am impressed. No odour, feels beautiful to touch, love the ridges for gripping on the sides. I'm a bit torn? Is it to beautiful to use? Hahahaha. It will age well with time. Very happy with the oil provided- no need to dig around the hardware store for added extras.

Received this very quickly after ordering. Could tell as soon as I picked up the box by how heavy it was that It was a quality piece, and oh my It really is beautiful and very well made. It stays on my counter at all times, it is thick like a butcher block, and cleans up so easily after use. You will not be disappointed in ordering this. I am thinking of getting another smaller one for the other side of my counter now.
