These were my 3rd attempt at finding a good quality brass coin for engraving with LaserPecker 5 engraver. They all came in individual capsules and in great shape. I felt the finish was perfect for engraving, yet easy to polish afterwards. Coin are heavy and feel very high quality compared to the 2mm and 2.5mm ones I purchased prior. I did find that depending on the type of engraving (embossed/3D vs. 2D photo, using a black matte marker first, then wiping off afterwards, resulted in a much bolder/deep engraving. Setting are still tricky with the LP5, however, these coins were exactly what I needed.

Admittedly, I'm still very new to lasering, but the quality of the scoring and engraving where quite poor through the print. It was OK at first, but changed after a few layers and I couldn't get it cleaned up and looking nice after. It doesn't behave like other brass metal objects I have with the same settings. Did many test grid passes and the coloring doesn't match up at all.

These are great! I've made so many engraved coins for ppl. I love that each one comes with its own case.

Out of every 3 units the plastic cases are cracked.

These are much better quality than the average coin blanks. These look and feel so much better than the coins with the inner circle I've purchased on Amazon before. These are 3 mm thick not the 2 mm coins. This is where I will be purchasing blanks from.

El producto no es cobre auténtico como indica en la descripción. De hecho, en el propio texto del anuncio aparece una contradicción: primero dice “cobre auténtico”, pero unas líneas más abajo afirma que “estas monedas están hechas de latón puro”. Esto explica por qué no se comportan como cobre real: no se pueden grabar igual, no oscurecen, y la dureza es mucho mayor. Probado con una máquina láser de alta potencia (1064 nm), el cobre puro se marca enseguida, pero estas monedas apenas reaccionan porque no son de cobre. Son monedas de latón con un baño/tinte color cobre, no cobre macizo. Si buscas cobre auténtico para grabado o para trabajos artesanales, este producto no es adecuado

Loterie complète sur la composition des pièces. Impossible de prévoir les réglages de la machine. Parfois ça passe, parfois pas. Du coup ça fait beaucoup de déchets. A plus de 2€ la pièce c'est vraiment du gâchis. Je suis déçu car je me suis orienté vers ComMarker car c'est censé être une référence...
