The best eyeshadow primer I’ve used, my glitters stay put all day with no fallout

I LOVE love this primer - I’ve been using it for years. I have forgotten to put primer on before putting on my eyeshadow and it’s faded half way through the day! This primer really is the best, my eyeshadow still looks just as good at the end of the night when I’ve applied it in the morning!

I swear by this primer as an everyday wear. It keeps eyeshadow in place day to night in all weathers.

As there only seemed to be a small amount on the internal applicator when put on my eyelids, I wondered if it would be effective. However I’m delighted to say that my eye shadow didn’t crease at all.

I bought this product on Black Friday discount just to try as a lot of people swear by it. It's pretty good, it allows the eyeshadow to pack on more intensely but I don't necessarily find it to be life changing to my makeup routine. The average person who isn't a working Makeup Artist may not need this because it can complicate the blending of shadows as dark or saturated colors can stick so well onto the tacky/wet primer that they'll leave little round marks from your brush's first application that can be harder to blend out. So I still prefer applying eyeshadow over my powdered lids, which I find lets the colors blend better as it is powder-on-powder. It can be used to make glitter adhere more strongly and stand out more though. Also decent for a cut crease. So for me it's not worth the full retail price, but it may just be for you!

I've just bought the third primer and I've been using this product for the last 3 years. This is the only make-up product I was missing to keep my eyeliner on for the whole day. If you find that your eyeliner disappears over the day on the top of your eyelids, this will solve it. The primer is like a thick cream, so I find it easiest to apply it and smooth it over with my finger. The "problem" is that a waterproof eyeliner becomes even more waterproof with this base, so you'll need a good make-up remover. (For that, Nivea's Double Effect make-up was the only remover that works for me.)

I didn’t realise how much my eyelids sabotaged my makeup until I tried Urban Decay’s Primer Potion. Before this, even good eyeshadows would crease, fade, or just… evaporate by midday. The first time I used this, the difference was almost annoying - like, why has everything else been such hard work? It goes on as a thin, almost undetectable layer, and somehow makes every shadow grip better, blend smoother, and look more like it does in the pan. What surprised me most is that it doesn’t feel heavy or tight- it’s just there, quietly doing its job in the background. By the end of the day, my eyeshadow still looks like I meant it to. No creasing, no oily patches, no muddy blending. It’s one of the few makeup products I use that genuinely changes the result, not just the routine. It’s become the thing I reach for automatically, because everything else performs better with it than without it.

購入して2年経ちます。 私は主に汗ばむ時や、1日メイク直しする暇ないかもって時に使用してます。 私の目は、くっきり二重で溝も深いため、液をつけ過ぎると溜まってしまいますが、つけたすぐ後だったら伸ばすことができるので問題はないです。 良い点は、 アイシャドウは発色が良くなります。 アイラインは全然落ちません。朝4:00にアイラインを描いて、夜18:00までくっきりしっかりもちました。 汗ばんでも、長時間つけてても落ちないので、メイク直しやアイライン等の心配が少なくなり、持ち物も減りました。 悪い点は、 液をつけた後、アイシャドウのぼかしがなかなかうまくできません。 アイラインは、線を失敗するとなかなか消せず、全部落としてからもう一回下地から始めなければなりませんでした。 私は、悪い点のところに関して失敗しないように微調整すれば良いかなと思うので、使い続けています。 三角ゾーンに液を塗ると、長時間キープされるので、ずっと目がデカく見えます！

È una base occhi eccezionale puoi mettere qualunque tipo di ombretto anche scadente e dura da mattino a sera senza entrare nelle pieghe o sbavare. Lo consiglio assolutamente sopratutto perché l ho pagato pochissimo (10 euro) invece che 26/30 come in profumeria.

Der Primer von Urban Decay ist mit Abstand der beste Primer. Kein verschmieren mehr. Der Liedschatten hält.
