Better than I anticipated
This ball is amazing to allow me and my mate to golf at night. The brightness does not last as long as it claims, but it does glow at a lower brightness for quite a bit of time. We play a short par 3 course at night and essentially just use the flashlight in between holes and it works grand. Been using the same set of 6 balls for 3 months now (playing once a week) and they still work great. Only slightly less glow noticeable. Solid product for the price and they do have a good feel to them. Much better than I anticipated.

good glow in the dark balls for quick rounds
These work great, for a few minutes at a time. You have to be quick between hitting it with the UV light, and tracking down your ball down course. They only stay lit for 5 minutes or so, then they fade fast. Easy to lose if you diddle at the tee box. They hit like a real ball, unlike the LED glow in the dark balls.

Great nigh ball! A little shorter than normal balls.
I thought these balls worked really well for my first night golf outing! They light up quickly and retain a glow for a good amount of time after each charge. You charge with the UV flash light which is provided and probably takes less than 30 seconds to work our way around the entire ball. The extreme brightness fades a bit by the time you get to your ball, but it just dulls a bit and on the dark grass and with dark skies, they are still super easy to spot for close to 10 minutes, gradually fading. I saw some others who used the balls with the LEDs inside that start flashing on contact. However, just from watching foursome ahead of us a couple of times, they had at least 4-5 times where they hit it and it didn’t light up, making it near impossible to find unless you have great sense of what your shot is doing. We did not have this worry what so ever with the RL ball. Also, just don’t do the balls with the glow stick inside... thats what they gave us at course. We did find that the ball traveled a little shorter than with our normal balls. I would say that this range increases the longer the club gets. I would say it probably takes 15 or so off of drives, 10ish off of fairways and long irons, and maybe 5-10 off of your wedges/short irons. We opted to chip, pitch, and putt with our regular balls. We putt lantern by pin and head lamp on the ball. The RL balls ran out considerably more than normal balls, and felt a little dead off the putter. I would recommend doing this from within 40-50 yards depending on comfort. I would certainly recommend this ball!

These R&L Glow in the Dark Golf Balls WILL Extend your Golfing Season! :)
This is my review of the R&L Glow in Dark Tournament Quality Golf Balls. I gave them 5 stars. Here is why: A. These balls get very bright with the enclosed flashlight. B. After driving off the tee, it is easy to track the flight of the ball. If you land it in the fairway, the ball is visible from the tee, at least for me. Brooks Koepcka and Rory may disagree here, but then they drive 330 yards! LOL! C. The carry off the tee, for my 96 MPH Driver Clubhead Speed, is quite comparable to any Premium Priced ball. D. It is very nice to take advantage of the very cheap "TWILIGHT RATES" offered by most courses this time of year! It is pretty cool to know I can get on the 9 hole course and walk into the Clubhouse with a completed scorecard! I would recommend buying a good headlamp powered by 2 3.7 volt Lithium Ion batteries, because if you miss the fairway, it will help you find the ball much quicker. Also, the headlamp will illuminate the reflective strip on the flag, giving you the exact target to aim for! E. These balls, in my opinion, work very well in the short game as well. They chip well and roll true! F. In summary, if you are looking to extend your season in both Spring and Fall, these are the balls to purchase! If, on the other hand, you want to putt with your kids after dark, those battery powered LED balls would most likely be fun for the kids, but if you want to take a FULL SWING with your Driver... these are what you want. :) G. BALL SPECS: DIAMETER: 43mm WEIGHT: 46g STRIKE: 125 ft/s FLEXIBILITY: 79.5-81.5 COMPRESSION: 70-85 COLOR: White during the day, yellow-green at night after charging

Suck!!!!
Played night golf with friends and finally just borrowed their balls. These balls SUCK. They require you to hold a light on them and they dont get bright and fade so fast you cant find them in the dark. My friend had balls you bounce once and they light up bright and stay bright and were CHEAPER then these POS balls...don't buy! Get led impact balls.

Not as bright as the glow v1, funny feel to outside of ball.
Well... probably would not have written a review but they claim to be the "brightest" glow golf ball. They are absolutely not. I bought them because they were quickly available. My son brought his GlowV1s over to compare and I said "hey, why are yours brighter?" we both charged them to compare then I said "hey, why is your charging flash light better?" we switched UV flashlights and had the same results. Glow V1s lasted longer and were brighter, as well as having a much easier to use flashlight. R&L were also coated with like a spray or something on the outside of ball giving them a rough feel. AND I kinda feel like they are purposefully lying about the "brightest" ball thing. IF they were $10.00 I would say yeah, they are less money and are good enough. BUT they are they same price as Glow V1s AND are slightly inferior AND claim to be better? Nope. A quick note... ALL night golf balls are not great at this point....the led ones are brighter by far but don't last, don't go as far (70% or less), break, feel like rocks, and sometimes flat out don't function even when brand new. The "GLOW" type feel better, go better (90% or so), seem to last ok, but are pretty freaking dim...when you hit them you lose sight after maybe 50 yards... then after guessing the flight path and distance (hopefully) you can find them if you get close enough to spot the landed ball (maybe within 40 yards if in a fairway, 15 yards if in rough) then you quick charge the ball (1 minute) and smack it again. What I am saying is be prepared to lose the balls on errant shots. ARE R&L BALLS OK? YES... ARE THEY "THE BRIGHTEST"? NO. Hope this helps.

These work great for when you need them. Specifically a night game. I carry an UV flashlight in my bag to charge them at each hole, but if you leave them outside for a full day or two in the sun, they are bright and stay bright for a good amount of time. You could probably do a round of 9 without a charge.
