I bought these magnets to make custom refrigerator magnets by gluing them to wood and plastic pieces. They've worked very well for this application. Despite their small size, they're surprisingly strong and hold securely to the refrigerator without sliding down or falling off. The magnets have bonded well using adhesive and have stayed attached to my projects without any issues. Their consistent size also makes them easy to work with when making multiple items. I've been happy enough with their performance that I'll definitely buy them again when I need more. They're about as strong as hard drive magnets if you've taken one apart. There's plenty of size choices and I'm seeing a lot of people complaining they're too small, too weak, etc. The measurements are in millimeters. 1mm is very very thin, 1mm is about as wide as a small paper clip. Not the whole clip, as wide as the wire itself. The first option that's selected by default is 3 x1mm. That's 3mm wide, 1mm thick, about the size of the little button tip of an AA battery if you chopped it off. Knowing that, they're good magnets, the bigger they are, the more magnetic force they have. Also, if you do buy very thin ones, don't pry them apart if you want one magnet from the stack. You need to push it off so they don't snap on you. They're nickel plated so they look like a tough metal but neodymium is very brittle.

These magnets are strong, very strong. They might be just a tad difficult to use as refrigerator magnets because of their small size and adhesive power. I prefer the magnets that sort of look like chess pawns to stick things onto my refrigerator. But if you're looking for small powerful magnets you'll love these little suckers.
