Great quality and helps to settle an upset stomach. Taste is not bad either, and mixes easily with hot water.

This product really does make the required thick paste with a little hot water which is what you want with slippery elm. That’s because it is the inner bark. I’ve tried other brands sold on Amazon which didn’t do this and clearly using outer bark which is useless for medicinal soothing effect to coat lining of stomach to heal inflammation. Glad I finally found a trustworthy product to assist the healing of my gastritis.

I really like the quality of this product. However honestly I did not notice any difference while taking it. Previously I had bought a cheaper slippery elm product from Holland and Barrett, which had various fillers in it that i was trying to avoid so thought id spend more to get this one from amazon. However i think the Holland and Barrett version seemed to work on me better - i noticed results while taking it. In terms of taste and texture, I actually don't mind this one at all. It tastes strange at first, but you do get used to it very quickly.

This is just a loose powder so it’s easy to add to a little water (I put it with warm rice milk). For me it has a very pleasant, VERY soft spicy flavour. I think it really helps with any tummy issues - it’s an old remedy that my mum used on us as kids.
