Good 👍
Great truck but came with broken pan hard mount due to the way it’s packaged. But this is not a toy rc this is as close to comp crawler you can buy rtr or its brother the ascent fusion. As far as its capabilities are concerned its out crawls my heavily modified trx4 sport and both my axials right out of the box.

Great crawler, even better support
Great support. If something arrives broken or ends up broken, Redcat sends replacement without hesitation. I own multiple RC’s and redcat’s support has been so much extra compared to bigger brands like Armma or Traxxas. They offer live chat, and don’t push you to find a solution to your own problem. Unlike my Armma, whose product arrived with wobbly ass wheels and wouldn’t connect to the remote, they told me to purchase replacements myself since it was “wear and tear”. It ARRIVED like that! Traxxas and Armmas support also asks for too much information, and you can only contact them via email (it takes them a week to reply back!) Redcat offered a replacement within a few minutes (live chat) and it shipped quickly as well. The car itself is great as well. Metal gears, portal axles, great servo and motor. Climbs as well as crawlers double the price. It also looks great with a really stiff and rigid chassis and metal shocks. Really durable as well. Dropped it upside down from 5ft without the body and the only damage was the metal corner flattening a little. I run a 5200 battery mainly but if I’m too lazy to charge and storage it, I use a small 1800mah battery. It has insane battery life. I can go for a week without charging the 1800 battery. Maybe I’m used to bashers and on road cars but insane battery life. Fun. Only cons are the suspension have very very very little flex, and its slower than me walking.

Very good beginner/budget LCG with portal axles
For the price, you can't beat it! This thing is a very capable crawler. The blue one's body style would have worked better for my uses but the red just looks so pretty on this truck. You get an LCG and portal axles for this price! I did play with this thing stock and it works really well if it's for a kid or someone new to crawling. It does not come with batteries so you'll have to factor that in. I currently run this on a 2200mah 3s lipo and I get amazing times. I like to upgrade/mod things and this crawler already has some pretty good aftermarket support. Transmitter feels pretty nice in the hand and it's very easy to use. So far I've only done light modifications to this (wheels, tires, springs, shock oil, body trimming). I will say though, the ESC is kind of loud and the drag brake on it isn't the best. ESC will probably be my next upgrade for it.

Looks and Quality
I like this RC Truck. It looks really cool. It works great right out of the box. Even the box it came in looks good. It has a low center of gravity. So it is a good climber. It is heavier than my other RC Truck of the same 1/10 scale. It must be built a little sturdier. The Venom 5000, 30C, 2 Cell, 7.4 Volt battery works good in it. The battery came with 3 adaptors so it will work with other RC vehicles. I also have a 1984 Chevy Base Camp K10 Rock Crawler. This battery also works with that truck.

First Crawler
This base model Crawler has allot going for it. I am no expert on Crawlers at all. This is all new and exciting to me after discovering its performance and how it can be improved with the free upgrade mods. I have only upgraded the shocks and notice a difference in the performance. I did have one issue with the U-joint on the portal where the axel pin popped out about 1/2 way. Luckily I noticed it soon and was able to push it back in. I think this is what another reviewer experienced which possibly destroyed that portal assembly. I did add some super glue to this pin so hopefully no more issues here.
