Extension Cord 10 ft - Long Power Strip Surge Protector, 6 AC Outlet 4 USB

Got two of these for my son's dorm room. The long, flat cord and flat, offset plug are both good design features. He has one for bedside and one for desk- he got lucky in his first dorm that outlets were close and abundant, but the surge protection and ease of use are real winners. The picture shows the extension cord assembled as part of his bed shelf.

I love that it has a USB port because I can charge my phone directly without having to carry extra chargers.

This is probably the best extension cord I've yet to purchase. The additional plug types make it so I can easily have multiple things plugged in for regular use! I also like the flat, sideways main plug. I was able to push my bed completely against it without an issue! It's quite durable and sturdy. It's about the same size as most but with more use

This is a space-saving strip that packs lots of functionality bringing outlets and USB to a small space. The flat, braided cord is attractive and routes along baseboards and under furniture with ease, if a bit stiff. The flat, angled plug plugs in without blocking the adjacent outlet and is very low profile. AC receptacles have a firm, tight mating force - imperative for safety. All outlets and USB are on the top surface so the strip will fit narrow spaces. Keyholes are provided in the back for wall mounting but the unique end-mounting screw holes make attachment to flat surfaces easy. The 1.2" width measurement on the sales page isn't correct. I measured 12.8" long, 1.95" wide, 1 5/16" high. All of these features came together nicely for me to neatly add power to an Ikea UTMANING table top on a variable height MITTZON stand. The power strip attaches using the end holes under the removable wire access hatch and fits nicely along the narrow finger grip. The motor cord plugs into the strip leaving several other AC and USB outlets for use. The 10' braided cord drops neatly down the leg (with slack for up/down) and looks better on the floor than a typical extension cord. Nice. With ETL and Underwriter's component ratings plus the integrated overload/transient protection this is a first-rate strip that I'd be comfortable with in many applications. It's small size made it work in my tight table wire well. Considering the compact size, good construction, and price, it's a good value to boot.

Absolute life-saver. Only a single outlet available in my student union’s study space, and using this to let others plug in as well has been met with the utmost gratitude. So no more fighting or watching like an hawk to snatch it when it’s free, even made a friend! Plug itself is at an angle, so if you position it the right way it’s out of the way for other plug-in devices and keeps it straight/ safely protected. 100% worth the buy! Tip- keep the twist tie and wind it back up exactly the way it came, it makes storage and travel incredibly easy, and the braided cord is very durable!!
