Very easy to assemble for my eight tomato plants in buckets. Timer works great. Some of the drip heads did not work. Contacted the seller and response was immediate with replacement parts arriving a few days later. Great product. Definitely a good buy!

We received this in an open torn box. We were fortunate that all the parts were there and in good order. We've ordered 2 and the one set up seems to be working fine. It is really to soon to write a real review.

Our container tomato plants seem to be very thirsty and knowing we would be going away for a few days, I needed to figure out how to keep them hydrated. I originally ordered a set that drew off a container filled with water, but when it arrived, just the packaging made me decide to return it (plain cardboard box). So, I decided on the RainDrip kit. Once it arrived, I was sold on the product even before installing it because of how professionally it was packaged. Plus, they have their own website. They have videos on installing and tips on using. The instruction manual was professionally done and was written in perfect English. Now, it was a warm sunny day when I installed it and by setting the tubing in the sun, it made it easy (with some effort) to get the elbows, tees and drips inserted into the tubing. I accidently inserted a wrong one into the tubing and when I tried to remove it, no way. At least it gave me confidence that these fittings would not leak or come apart. I found it very easy to install. Once I finished, I ran for a short time in manual mode with one of the drips going into a bucket to test output. As stated in the instructions, each drip dose provide 1/2 gallon per hour. Because my containers are large, I opted to place two drips in each one. Also, this kit comes with an Analog controller so there is no programming involved and it is as simple as changing the dials to select the frequency and length of each watering cycle. Absolutely would recommend this system. Even though I purchased for the times we were away, I will just let it run while home and make any necessary adjustments to maintain the correct amount of moisture in my tomato containers.

Why did you pick this product vs others?: This is a good kit for someone who's setting up a drip system for the first time, because it contains everything you need. And it's easy to install. I give it 3 stars, because it's not very durable. I first used it for about 2 months for a trip. When I reinstalled it the following year, there were leaks at all the connection points. I tried wrapping leak-proof tape around everything, but it didn't help. Maybe it was it the heat that wore it down? Not sure.

It was easy to set up and seems to work well. The timer unit seems solid enough and easy to program. I worry about the plastic hose connectors popping off, but so far okay. It is battery powered so no need to have electrical outlet.

Great kit, easy install and works perfectly. I got it for my plants on our rooftop so I don't have to worry when I am away. Local stores wanted about $100 for a similar setup. NOTE: It does not come with a pressure regulator like in one of the photos but I did not need it. Took about 45 minutes to setup on my rooftop to 9 pots. Larger pots plan for 2-3 heads smaller pots like in my photo are great with one dripper. Did not have any problems inserting the dripper heads but I did leave my hose in the sun to soften up. Make sure you place your pots and run your hose your desired route before cutting. The kit comes with 75' of hose and enough heads for 20 smaller planters. They all flow evenly and put out a good amount of water. I would buy this kit again. Instructions were clear and comes with everything you need. Enjoy!
