I fell in LOVE with this syrup when a co-worker accidently introduced this to me a while back when grabbing a coffee at a local chain joint. Usually I like my coffee strong and black – no sugar no cream. But when I got given this in my coffee I was taken back. For anyone from the UK and loves cherry bake wells this tastes exactly like the almond part to those! I do enjoy the subtle hint of almondy essence when drinking my coffee and now while the summer kicks up having it in iced coffee is a true winner. Having had this for a few months now it has a long shelf life and is my go-to when I want to spice up my coffee iced or not. I have heard using this in milkshakes and or on top of ice cream much like my friends suggest however sticking to coffee is a clear winner in my true opinion. In means of how much I use in my coffee is about a tablespoon or so and any more and it overpowers the taste of the coffee and you more or less end up drinking almond flavoured hot liquid more than a comprehensive blend of delicious coffee brew and almond hint of sweetness. For any lovers of the almond cake/cherry bake well taste, go for it!!!

Great value for money, chocolate flavour syrup

It's Monin the best syrup ever... I like the flavour and that it contains sugar (I hate skinny syrups), good quality for money... You can add it not only to coffee, but to cake, ice cream and desserrs. The only negative is that it is inside a plastic container, which is not favourable for the environment.

I have the syrup in my coffee, and I add it to cold drinks too! Tastes lovely if you mix it with a cherry syrup too, if you love amaretto flavouring, you will love this product, I think Monin is my favourite brand for this flavour of syrup.

Was worried it would have a short expiry date being a large bottle and with buying it online. But had over 18 months and vacuumed packed so no complaints
