Works great removes the under hair and doesnโt cause any pain to your dog. Highly recommend it.
This is a great brush. It doesnโt hurt my dog. Heโs a little Pomeranian with lots of hair and heโll let me sit there and brush him for an hour with this. It doesnโt bother him at all and it removes the hair great

Best brush ever!!!
This is the best brush I have ever used for my dog! I have had long haired dogs my whole life and this brush is in a category by itself. The brush just seems to slide right through the mats with almost no pulling or pain. My dog used to fight being brushed the whole time with a slicker brush with the metal pins and now he sits there with his eyes half closed. Actually enjoying the process. Itโs wonderful! Easy to clean the hair out. And I love the purple.

Nice smooth and fluff brush, but not easiest to clean.
Over all, my dog seems to like the brush. Well the feel of it anyway. He especially likes me brushing his chest and tail with it. He's got a long, super thick, triple coat. Though you can't tell how long or thick it is, because of how it lays on him. This dog is a pain to bathe and when he swims, his under layer and skin does not get wet. His skin stays completely dry, except his head and belly area. He's part duck, I swear. So he requires more brushing to help his skin and coat, stay clean. Although I dont get much hair off of him with this particular brush, that's not why I bought it. I bought it as a finishing brush, to hopefully smooth out and fluff his outer coat. He needs at least 3 different brushes to get the job done, though he doesn't have the patience to let you do it all at once. My only displeasure with this brush, is cleaning it out. With how close the bristles are, his long hair doesn't like to come out. I need some kind of cleaning tool, that won't ruin the bristles or the protective rubber tips. Lol. I've found it helps to use toothpicks to clean it.

Awesome pet brush!
I LOVE this brush! I recently adopted a Doggo after the death of my beloved girl, and this new girl has long fur! I've never had a dog with long fur & didn't have a clue about what brushes to buy/use. I bought one with the brush tips โuntippedโ and it didn't seem right so looking around found this brush to replace my 30 yrs old dog brush (cracking in half so old) and I love this brush, and so does my dog! It's easy to use & clean. It removes small mats. It gives a nice brush for the dog & smoothing the hair down. I also have a mat rake for the thick fur, I used that even on my shorthair dog during shed time to remove the undercoat that was falling out, during the shedding season. LOVE this brush! It's exactly what I need & was looking for! Easy to clean too!

Okay brush
Itโs okay. Doesnโt really reach in and get the loose hair.

Loose fur in the bristles is easily removed with any wide-toothed comb.
The Hertzko Soft Pet Brush is a hit with my three dogs! My long-haired Pomeranian enjoys the soft brush head and the way the rubberized bristles penetrate all the way to the undercoat without being sharp and painful. My medium-haired ShihTzu enjoys the thorough job the brush does in detangling and removing dust, any debris, and occasional loose fur. He sits in my lap and looks up at me as if to say, โMom! Go ahead and start the massage with that new purple brush!!!โ Finally, my short-haired mini Dachshund, who happens to be a moderate shedder is happy to get 1:1 time with soft brushing from the top of her head and ears to her tail. This brush is truly a โhome runโ when it comes to brushing all of my dogs in an effective, efficient, and humane way.

Just what I was looking for
I wanted a brush for DSH cats, not a dog brush that is advertised as also good for cats. This fits the bill. Maybe it's good for dogs, too; I have no idea and don't care. The protected bristles seem to be appreciated by both cats, and both enjoy being brushed, even on the face. Some people have reported it to be hard to clean. Since my cats are DSH it's going to be a while before there's enough accumulated hair for me to worry about. But I did try pulling out the hair with my fingers and I find that works well enough -- I don't need a pristinely clean brush, just one that doesn't have so much hair in it that it doesn't do any good. That is not a problem with this brush.

Floofy cat approved!
I have a ragdoll who didn't like to be brushed. Her previous owner (another family member) always used harsh metal bristles brushes on her and they only brushed her periodically when she started matting. She hated it and would meow and squirm away each time. But with this brush and the soft plastic bristles and the nubs at the end, she LOVES being brushed now. And because she likes it, I can do it daily - which probably creates less stress. And there is definitely little to no matting now. She even likes when I do it backwards up her spine to help get the undercoat. Easy to clean the hair out - and with her I have to do that often. Now when she hears me open the drawer with the brush, she comes running. With a longer hair cat, they should be brushed more regularly and I'm happy now that she enjoys it. We've had the brush for several months and it's in great shape. No nubs have fallen off or any bristles broken. Still soft and pliable.
