Best 1/10 roller on the market for speed runs and bashing!

Pretty awesome Roller but had some issues. 1: with stock suspension set up i could not get this to run straight. Still haven't in fact after minor tweaking but know i can get there. 2: Many of the hex screws were in so tight i could not get them out without applying heat, which i did not have access too and have stripped them. (my fault i know but i feel like it could have been avoided if they simply weren't anchored in so hard) 3: Could not remove the Spur gear from the center shaft to swap it out. I have no idea what was going on but that is ON THERE. All in all it is a super cool roller with a lot of potential but some parts tend to be stuck which can lead to frustration especially when you do not have all the tools to do it the "professional" way. Still giving it 4 stars.

This car is freaking amazing! From the over-sized, aluminum shocks to the aluminum chassis, the aluminum drive shaft and shock towers. The aluminum motor mount, front and rear sway bars, working headlights and taillights, and hardened steel drive shafts are also just a few of the incredible high end parts on this beast! I bought the race roller without any of the electronics and am now waiting for Amazon to deliver my motor, ESC, steering servo and some other aftermarket goodies. Another great selling point is that I got it here on Amazon during a "Deal" for $152.99, instead of $179.99; AWESOME! Since I haven't had a chance to run it yet, I can't comment on how it actually drives, but for the price, you can't get a better on road car. GET IT, you'll never be sorry!

A true hard core hobby grade on road missile. Put your own electronics in to customize it to how you want it. Buy an adjustable motor mount on the first day. The one on the car is the only terrible thing, along with the first time you change it out. There is one terrible thing with this chassis. I have two of these and on one, the rear suspension screws that go into the aluminum stripped immediately when I was changing the motor mount out from being over tightened at the factory. Had to drill them out, and buy new aluminum parts. So beware, it’s tedious to take apart the first time. Even with that pain in the a…. the car is amazing. You could buy this car, put it on the self as art and never drive it, and it would still be worth it with the build quality and scale niceness…. Oh ya it’s very very very speed capable. Guys doing 150 + mph… not kmh nuts. The car is built so well it really doesn’t take much other than driver skill to get this over 100 mph. Great hobby car.

The first car I got I was unable to remove the driveshaft drive cups. The replacement was the same, I took it to an actual mechanic that had tools that was able to remove to drive cup. Then I processed to get the car ready to drive. I put the bigger of the 2 included pinions on the motor and kept the stock spur on the car. I also bought the adjustable motor mount for the ak-917. The mesh was too tight with the adjustable mount all the way to one side. I contacted seller and asked if it is supposed to work, and they said something about max tooth count or something. That would have been helpful information BEFORE I bought this and put all this time in. I looked online and saw others complaining about this and showing how they had to grind the screw slots bigger to get the mesh correct. I am now deciding to cut my losses now before I come across more issues costing me more money. I will be returning this car and the motor mount. I will stick to more reputable manufacturers like arrma and traxxas. The car looks fast sitting still, but working on it is a nightmare.
