Frontier Co-op Organic Ground Dandelion Root 1lb

I had been buying Y.S. Eco Bee Farms brand bee pollen capsules, but have been doing powders in capsules myself for many other supplements. So I decided that I could do bee pollen powder myself in capsules. Took a chance on this bee pollen powder only to discover that it has amazing energy (vibration) and is just as good (if not better) than my previous brand. Works very well for me to help with my daily energy and stamina. Save money and feel good? Yes please!

This is a marvelous root powder and just what I needed for my herbal products. It is very clean and pure with a strong fresh smell which tells me that it is a high quality. No way I would want to be without this.

Giving 5 stars because it does what it is supposed to. This is my first time buying in bulk so I dont know if the powder is supposed to be chunky. It is in the bag that I got. If you are an experienced dandelion root powder buyer, you will probably know the answer to this question. Ive bought other powders in bulk bags and never had this issue. Other than that I use it for bloatinf and it definetely takes away the bloat.

This product isn't over processed or concentrated, clumping is present but easily fixed with the flat side of a spoon. 3rd time ordering, tried others but came back. Use it everyday to stay healthy. 1 teaspoon mornings.

I buy other root powders from different vendors. The dandelion powder from Frontier had a number of hard lumps. This tells me that somewhere along the production line the powder was exposed to high humidity. Several other reviewers have commented on the issue of hard lumps. Also it was contaminated by grain moths, though I couldn't be certain if I had improperly closed the bag, or it there was some contamination to begin with, that had some grain moths that were in the lot. I take care to make sure that once a bag is opened, to make sure that it is properly closed. As I recall, I put some labeling tape over the opening and then folded over the opening several times. I find that the bag material that Frontier uses is thinner than that used by most other vendors and does not contain a double zip lock. For these reasons, I'm not sure if I will purchase from Frontier again. One other reviewer commented about webs in the powder (Ian T, April 2019) but was not aware that this is grain moth damage. Possibly that reviewer was not careful closing the bag, or the powder was contaminated to begin with. The lot number may be X000UCES2P or 2560.8212 (numbers copied from the label).

I use dandelion regularly and this is a good product. We capsule our own.

Put this in a shake for breakfast. It is a little grainy but I just add extra water to reduce the thickness it creates in the shake. Love the fact It is organic and being a powder it means one less supplement capsule to take. Very little flavor which is fine.

First time using dandelion for myself and my son. 17 yro and we love it we prepare a 2 quart pitcher for us everyday we drink it. gives us a lot of energy and my son is losing inches on his waist I highly recommend this product good stuff I am a life time customer
